Magic Posturing About Keeping Dwight Howard Until Feb. 2013?

I wouldn't be shocked if it was a direct trade between Lakers and Magic. Then people would be asking how, what and why then my answer would be because that's how David Stern and the NBA does it fellas.

 

Then alot of people would stop watching because there's no way they can do a two team trade.

 

Could be anything.

He could be breaking the news personally to Dwight that he's going to stay put for now and that he's a different GM, a better GM that can make the moves that could convince Dwight to stay.

But yeah not sure, I kind of doubt he'd go there just to say "You're being traded." because most players usually are told something like that on the phone (or not at all, many players claim they find out on sportscenter or something)

I think he'd visit him to have a more intimate talk with Dwight about how he's going to have to toughen up and put on the Magic jersey again.

Please understand...I have been a die hard UK and Rockets fan for years. I watched Uconn,Iowa State and UK of course atthe Yum center during March...Royce has potential, however once UK put the clamps down defensively he was dominated by Jones and Davis. Lamb could not even lead a loaded Uconn team past Iowa State. I love Jones but go back and watch the first IU game when he did not bother showing up. My point is that there is value with the three rookies but they will not carry the Rockets to a winning record this year. I got so excited about making a splash and some noise this year. We still have ZERO allstars.

 

How you can sit there and say he's DEFINITELY going to leave or he's DEFINTELY going to stay? Dwight himself hasn't said anything but some of you peeps keep rolling what you hear from ESPN.

Point to me where Dwight said he'll walk away. Dwight, not sources, not sources close to Howard, not sources close to the situation, Dwight himself.

The closest thing that fits your description is him telling Woj he'll explore FA if not traded to Brooklyn. That doesn't mean he's DEFINITELY leaving like some of you are convinced. That doesn't mean he's DEFINITELY staying either.

Just like i thought JR. You are quick with the snappy insults. Did he deny it? It was big news, so i know he saw or heard of it. Why hasn't he denied it if it weren't true?

 

He's a media attention w****. Thats why.

 

Guess what happened when sources came out and said he got his coach fired(which we all know he did)? He immediately came out and said he didn't.

 

I'm not going to disagree with you I can't but I want to. These guys have to prove themselves and from what your saying they didn't in they're last year in college. In the NBA hopefully they're games can translate and be easier kind of like it was for Bundinger outside of his defense which was never there. I'm optimistic it's hard not to be about the rookies but I understand they're rookies that have to grow up... Hope they max they're potential. That's all I can hope.
