Asik? b4 he can add offence to his game, I will ask him to train for conditioning. We need him to play at least 30 min a game.

A guy who can play like Olajuwon for 15 min isn't going to help at all.

I like how we all complain that Laker fans are so entitled, yet, we expect Hakeem to spend his time training with some scrub big man. (Asik isn't a "scrub", but, you catch my drift.)

    He is what he is.
At 26, he can improve a bit on his strength, defense. But can not transform into an offensive weapon.

Maybe not an offensive weapon but to say "He is what he is" at 26 is silly .. He can always improve his footwork, maybe develop a few simple post moves, possibly a hook shot. All depends on what kind of student he is and the teacher.

That's about 10 pts, 4 rebs and 1.5 blocks. GTFO.

Just To be realistic 25m for 15 min of service, he will be paid just below Kobe Bryan in per min base... And we probably need to many Asiks in this case.

I'm not sure how long it would take for him to learn 20% of the skills from Dream. Even if he had the skills, Asiks is running slower than the 39 year-old dream, 10 pts, 4 rebs and 1.5 blocks would be impossible...

With DMo, Lamb, Martin, Lin and Jones, I can less worry about our offence, and more importantly the priority duty for a centre to defence the basket...

I'm not sure any of this changes the fact that you just claimed that 15 minutes of Hakeem doesn't help.

And how are you making this 25m 15 minute of service comparison in terms of per minutes between Asik and Bryant? Bryant's last contract was for 3 years 83.5m and last season he played 38.5 mpg over 58 games. That's roughly 12.5k per minute last season paid to Bryant. At Asik's current pay rate on last year's play time, he'd still only be paid 8.6k per minute. That's not even close to Kobe.
