    I think you're missing the obvious. Amare isn't nearly as good as he used to be and isn't good enough to build around. Superstar or bust. Sacrificing players and cap space for this guy will put the team right back on the mediocre treadmill and NBA limbo. Not good enough to make or do anything in the playoffs and not bad enough to pick high enough in the draft to get a franchise changer. No thanks.

    Oh, and this is a random trade proposal no different from any other.

    I would be willing to bet we hear some Amar'e talk around Houston before the season is over. Yes, this is just MY opinion..but you can bet the Rockets aren't going to just SIT on this cap space.

    1. A lot of Knicks fans think Stoudemire is a bust... compared to the salary he is paying.
    2. Mediocre is the worst place to be in the league again.
    3. I don't believe he will be a good mentor, and so there is no reason we are signing him.
    4. We have 8 PFs...
