I think he should've tried Davis as a starter in one exibition game. The kid is made for International basketball and this team.
That's what was said about Kevin Love. But I agree; these exhibition games don't count for anything but an adjustment to the rules. Free the Brow!
I think Brow should at least be the first option off the bench, if we're talking about bigs. Forget Love.
ad makes a bigger impact that love. i understand coach k is iffy about playing a rookie significant minutes but he's too valuable to sitting on the bench
at first the refs let them play physical, and then a lot of ticky tack stuff also the "charge" on Lebron was BS, and the KD "travel" wasnt really a travel but their was bad calls for both teams Also is it me or Deron Williams getting fatter, and not as a good of a defender as he used to be. He is getting torched on D by lesser talented guards the entire exhibition
if they had let 3 people from the stands ref the game it might have been a little more impartial. they went into overdrive trying to stop fastbreaks with any travel they could think of in the first half. and then didn't let anything go on the perimeter or in the post when team USA played D in the 2nd half. the fact we still won by 22 and did it with russell westbrook almost single-handedly destroying the offense for long stretches was pretty impressive. that was really some of the worst offense by one player i can remember. he dropped passes, threw passes away, took terrible jump shots, missed most of them, missed an easy layup, trapped himself under the rim for an airball layup in the 1st half, dribbled out most of the shotclock on several occasions. the fact deron williams has looked incompetent in almost every game so far means chris paul better bring it in the olympics.
