Tonight Asik is officially a Rocket. Let the Howard chase begin!

If Martin is gone at the trade deadline as I expect, Morey will have just about turned over the entire roster. Morey is just a better GM than almost anybody out there.

Leave Patterson+Morris+Toronto Pick+Dallas Pick+All the non guaranteed guys on the table for Orlando to accept if they want. Otherwise screw Hennigan and D12.

It's also pretty well understood that when trading a superstar you will never get value for them. What is Orlando waiting for? They are delusional if they think the market will improve the longer they wait.

Orlando Magic may wait until Summer July 2013 before trading Dwight Howard

Well teams over the cap can't receive sign and trade players after 2012 for they will be in even worse shape lol.

I've officially had enough of this story. Dwight doesn't appear to want us, Bynum isn't worth losing lamb and dmo,we have a young center. The only problem is that we have way too many players.

Enter the Houston Rockets, again... lol

Dwight better just suck it up and realize that the "Lin-Ward" connection may be his best option.

It's a little premature to say Morey has won this offseason. As it stands, our team at the end of last year is much better than the team we will be starting with next year. However, I do applaud Morey and Les for finally deciding to blow up the team and just "go for it", for better or worse!! Clearly, They nor the fans could stand to be in the middle of the NBA pack for another season of .500 basketball.

I think it is just those teams that are over the luxury tax apron.

Correct. The Nets will have a hard time working a sign and trade deal for Dwight Howard, not to mention it will still rest on Orlando liking a maxed out Lopez.

If true... more power to ya Hennigan.

If I was Hennigan from the start I would have said that I would have either traded him last Summer(which he wasn't there to do) or called the bluff and stick with the statement that we are going to let Dwight walk in free agency if he chooses to, and eleviate the power of Dwight and his agent to call the shots.

You can always take phone calls from guys like Morey with offers, but this mass trade talk that is more agent driven than anything is going to take the power out of the GM's control. If Presti calls and offers Harden and Ibaka come January... now we are talking.

If nothing happens then you get to really test out the new CBA and see if Dwight is truely willing to walk to the team of his choice for the mid level exception.

Now that Orlando is "apparently"(weak source IMO) saying that he's going to be forced to play out his contract, they have the power in negotiations back in their hands. Good work Hennigan if true. Sucks for the fans who have to go through this drama for another year.

Great!!!...We can now look forward to 2 plus years of 25 to 30 percent winning percentages...AWESOME! I am so excited...what happened to wanting to watch a winner? it just baffles me that everyone is ready to get the popcorn for Lin & Lamb..pathetic.

I am so sick of this, if we don't manage to get Howard at a bargain price then I hope BRKLN rapes the hell out of ORL, that's what they would deserve if they think they can wait until next summer.
