    *Sigh*

For the last time, the cap hit is averaged evenly throughout the three years, so it's $16.6 mil/year for both of them.

They are paid physically real money 5/5/15, but unless you're Les Alexander's accountant, why would you care about this?

Though they were sometimes effective, were you really happy when Dalembert and Camby would hoist 19 footers?

What made Chuck Hayes so good for this team is that he knew his role and didn't take outside shots.
I assure you Asik won't make as many long jumpers as Camby and Dalembert this season....because he wont be shooting them.

Was NY down a man by Chandler, the DPOY. No, of course not.

Mutumbo has shown me that there is a place for a 7 footer who dominates
on D, and gets offensive rebounds.

Asik may be limited offensively but if he can learn how to move around the basket he could get some easy dunks.

i keep forgetting les only cares about revenue that winning.

Signed with another team, the contract is divided equally by year. So, $8.33 million per year.

Had Chicago (Asik) or NY (Lin) matched: $5 million, $5 million, and $15 million, that third year being the killer.

Don't know why it's set up that way, but it is.

    Can't argue with this one.

If Asik and Lin turn out to be quality starters and continue to grow, these contracts will be well worth it. If not, they're only 3 year contracts and they aren't exactly salary cap crippling.

They only count for ~$8 million on the cap that 3rd year for us. The $15 mil only applied to NYK/Chi if they would have matched.

    Exactly.

    Lin/Asik=17 mil>>>>>>>>>>Humphries/Lopez=30 mil

At least we don't have the worst GM in the NBA.

Morey turned Miller into Donuts and Flyn. Then flipped Flyn for Camby who then was flipped into 2 2nd rounders. Yeah, that's what i thought. LONG LIVE MURRAY!!!!

yes. you're missing a bottle of mauryhaterade. It's beyond me how people look over at how well our gm finds players that fit the concept of basketball.
I'm excited at the season. Opposing players are not just going to waltz into the lane. And I will declare it now, we will be one of the best rebounding teams.
