I cant help but post again about how wrong you are. Keenum? No. Just no.

Dude brings nothing, is short, cant throw deep, and is a product of a college system we dont even run here.

What does he bring?? Keenum homers ALWAYS say this, but they can never quantify what he brings. All they know is that he dominated low-end CUSA competition, but the NFL is a completely different animal. If he was THAT good, he would have gotten drafted. The bottom line is that he was passed up by 32 team SEVEN TIMES each. Kubiak loves coaching quarterbacks....it fulfills him. If Keenum can cobble together a nice career as a backup, I would say that's a success for him.

TJ Yates is the best qb on our roster.

Nice guys, committed Christians (if it matters)...I will root for both.

I would love to see both make an impact...but I would rather let Keenum grow into the role after some years of Schaub based AFC domination.

Apply what you just said to Arian Foster.

That's not to say Keenum will end up being a star (or even make an NFL roster), but your argument isn't without notable exceptions. Foster, Romo, Jeff Saturday, Priest Holmes, Wes Welker, London Fletcher, James Harrison, Kurt Warner, Warren Moon, Antonio Gates, John Randle, Dick "Night Train" Lane. Just because a guy doesn't get drafted doesn't mean they can't play.

Do you actually watch football games? That noodle arm averaged 10 points more a game than TJ...

I still say Keenum will surprise; no one will out work him. He is smart. He has an underrated arm. He has game time magic. I predict that he is the star of the preseason. One step at a time; he will get his chance, here or somewhere.
