Yeah, assault weapons with hundred round magazines are as necessary as trains, cars, fast food and water.
I sure hope they asked the families what religion (or lack thereof) each victim followed before they assumed and stuck a cross in the ground for each one. If one were Muslim or atheist (which is statistically likely), an act like this is akin to spitting on their corpse. It'd just be simply disrespectful.
