How Can We Best Use K Mart's Expiring Contract?

I could come up with multiple situations, but how about i don't and just wait and see what morey does. Because my hypothetical situations have no influence on what will actually happen, its pointless.

Love is not going anywhere, and Iggy does not fit in with what the Rockets are trying to build.

If a Dwight trade does go down, somehow the Rockets will be involved and Martin will be involved.

If a Dwight trade gets delayed until Feb. then I could see Morey hanging on to Martin until the trade deadline where he might be able to use him in a variety of different ways.

If all else fails I could see a situation where he is traded to a team like Phoenix that is trying to make a playoff run for another expiring contract and draft picks. The Suns still be getting over the whole Dragic/1st round pick for Brooks trade and back away but it could very well be a team like the Suns who need a solid wing scorer. Also keep an eye on Philly, as they might be a good fit for a player like Martin. However, like Phoenix, draft picks would be the main benefit of trading to them.

So thats my guess. Trade deadline deal for other expiring contracts and draft picks.

 

I'm assuming Martin goes out in a deal for Bynum/ Howard before the start of the season.
