Here is a news for Luis, the suns are going to be nothing for the next 3 to 4 years as they always are. OTOH, the rockets are going to stock pile talents for sth big.
    I liked Luis though.

Do we get the Leeb stamp of approval on this offseason or are you still going to be critical of them?

This. It's not you, baby, it's me. In scenario 1, we're dumping him to clear room for the star. In scenario 2, we're releasing him because we didn't get the star and Luis would be wasted on a young losing team. Which scenario would you focus on in explaining the decision to him? They did the right thing.

I agree, and it seems they were honest and up front with Scola from the beginning. While I would love for Scola to retire a Rocket, I think he deserves to win. He is a hard worker and an entertaining player to watch. I wish him the best of luck when he is not playing the Rockets.

Of course Morey was blowing smoke, but that's part of his job description, I'm guessing. As for all those carrying on about how boring the Rockets have been the last three seasons, I have to disagree. While Adelman was coaching the team, I had a hell of a lot of fun watching the team play his offense. Sure, we barely won more than we lost, but that offense was a thing of beauty. Last season? That's a different story.

Same here. Scola is one of my favorite players.

But maybe there's hope for him. When does his Phoenix contract expire? If he had stayed with Houston, he would have been a free agent in the summer of 2015. Now that he's been amnestied, I have no idea how many years he owes Phoenix. Maybe he'll get out early for good behavior. :D

I totally agree with the part regarding the Adelman coached Rockets team. The offense was really a thing of beauty. Last year was like pulling teeth for every basket.

on the contrary, we may suck as a basketball team..but that will lead to us getting some talented players. much like how we have guys like D-Mo, Lamb, Royce, T-Jo. talent = not boring
if you think it's going to be boring and you don't want to watch the games for the next few years then i guess we know how much of a true fan you are. have fun supporting some "good" team on a bandwagon next year. and when the Rockets return to elite status, don't bother coming back.

It might not be boring but we'll lose a lot of games and it'll be frustrating nonetheless.

Sorry to see Scola go, I wish he ended up on a contender. I figure it will be him and Gogi that will carrying the Phoenix team for a while.
I am not surprise about Morey not providing much info, GM's don't tell players exactly what they are going to do unless the player is a superstar. Its going to be a learning process for our young team, we can only hope a star emerges or we get one in next years draft.

Wanted to see him on okc. They'd be unstoppable with a legit post presence.

well, those teams had no cap. the Suns > the Bobcats.

but i'm not sure that he doesn't end up on one of those contender teams.
He'll be a nice trade asset 1 year from now.
I won't be surprised one bit if they trade him for some value.

I couldn't be more excited. I can't wait to see how these young guys do and see who we add in the next couple of drafts. Watching these next few years will make watching success in the future even sweeter. A lot sweeter than bringing in prima donna's with over inflated egos who act like THEY ARE the team. (Howard)

If you were not a Rocket fan which team would you be more proud to be a fan of, Heat or Thunder? Put me down for the Thunder.
