Jabbar was obviously the best ever. Magic was great. Yao was quite good too to my memory. I can't seem to remember any players in the league now who is really good at hook shot and use it a lot. Duncan, Gasol maybe?

Any time I see a hook shot it looks so retro. I guess it's a finesse move and players are bigger and stronger now and can get to the rim more.

Kevin Willis used to bang out a lot of hookers back when he played.

    Donates Motiejunas...

although he seems to square his body up to the rim as he releases, he still has a very effective hook-shot with both the left and right hand...

Yao's hook shot was a lot more textbook than donuts, donuts still has a lot of moving parts in his hook, I bet that will be fixed by McHale.

Andrew Bynum probably has the best active hook shot.

true, it was much more refined and texbook but the motion, style and release point are very similiar(except yao's was 6 inches higher)...
