Byron Scott came out and said the he and Bynum aren't close didn't he? I thought he had a quote somewhere.
@Cyberx You mentioned that Scott and Bynum are close, but I did read an article that quoted Byron Scott saying basically they barely know eachother and has no idea where that came from. http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2012/07/cavaliers_coach_byron_scott_sa.html
He's at a crossroads between the Lakers and Houston, no brainer for him. Even if he might stay with Houston, the only leverage he has himself is to say he won't re-sign with Houston to scare them off. I don't think he'll walk, but saying he will might scare the Rockets off. No reason to include LA. cyberx has been pushing Bynum to Houston since he started posting, don't really know why.
This is a stupid argument every time somebody brings it up. It's a business, teams have a right to do what's best for their franchise, and agents know it.
I understand, but look at history my friend. You don't see teams dumping Superstars in places they don't want to be, it just doesn't happen.
Yet, oddly - I can still sorta see how Morey's strategy to acquire Dwight is a smart one assuming we don't take on a ton of bloated contracts. Giving Dwight a full year to explore the lucrative world of Asian markets, Houston a chance to sign him for more money than any other team....well, it's a compelling argument to match up against the Laker's less money, more endorsements. I heard the argument made recently that Adidas' contract would be significantly more lucrative if Dwight were to play in LA but I think the counter to that is a company like Adidas who is competing with Nike for global market share would have an interest from the top in making ground in foreign markets. The view of LA being a more desirable market is a short sighted view.
morey probably realizes DH is so doorknob dumb that it'll be a breeze to get him under mind control and change his mind about staying in just the first week
who apparently has repeatedly pushed his client into utterly dead-end options like brooklyn, and now LAL...

Orlando has no leverage yet they are trying to create leverage by spreading false rumors so the Rockets can increase their already good offer. Rookie Hennigan thinks he can pull a fast one on Morey? LOL!
I dont know who is an insider and who isnt. I just wish that Orlando would hurry up and make the DH trade so all the rumors would end. And us fans can get use to whatever roster we have after that.
Ugh. Morey gets to claim a success, which becomes a Pyrrhic victory in a year. But Daryl feels safer in his job. (not to sound like Josh Innes; I just don't want to throw away good rookies on this superstar. Maybe we can 3-way with Atlanta and get Horford....
