There's a guy I work with who asked me if I was on Clutchfans when we found out we were both from Houston and followed the Rockets. I said "yeah, I sometimes get on there". :grin: I don't think he's a frequent flyer on here, though.
I have the same feeling sometimes... really I want a sticker on my laptop wt the clutchfans logo just to network with other CFers. Represent.
im totally with this... if i met anyone i'd feel like we shared the same college fraternity... everytime i hear CF get mentioned on local sports radio, i yell represent to whoever is in car with me... lol...
Some years back, one of the energy traders at Vitol's office in Houston had been browsing the site. I took a peek at his netbook, but he wasn't logged in. Also on a trip to New York, I saw someone on Clutchfans. It was pretty conspicuous since he and I seemed to be the only ones using the in-flight WiFi. If you are middle aged, white, have a Macbook Pro, and were on a flight from Atlanta to NYC back in June, hello.
i do, i don't care. told anotherbrother. my friends who are on here know who i am. doesn't seem like a big deal at all. if you are an extrodinanily different person on here than you are in real life, i guess i could see why you wouldn't want people to know. like if you're a troll.
Hmm. So MOST of the people in this thread have THOUSANDS of posts. Is it safe to say Clutchfans is like an addiction, but only some are more "strung out" than others (DD)?
I don't think I've said anything horrible on here but I'm still paranoid about letting people in my RL know my username on here.
As I haven't been in Houston in like 10 years, it's unlikely it would ever happen. But if I were to see someone in an airport lounge or so on clutchfans, I would go and talk to them.
