12 Yaroslav Korole ----this let me know at 12 that man we will have A STAR
    A wish upon a star
Although Clyde the glide Drexler was drafted 14, and Yates Yates the list goes on,
Either way it's all in or tank, these guys won't be "stars" for years if they become even close
to the player CLee was on both ends that's a ball player. CLee n Maxwell would
have loved each other, I regress...

I would be willing to trade pretty much everything for that starting line-up! I think that could be a play-off team next season and a contending team after that. Parsons and Howard are both elite level defenders while DMo has shown quickness and the ability to play pick and role defense. Lin and Lamb will be deadly on offense together (at least after Lamb gets some seasoning).

Right, so Howard is going to stay and not contend, while Morey builds around Howard. "Time and time again" and "every year..." means that we probably won't be contending for a few years.

You know how Morey finds "diamond in the rough" players? Through our picks in the draft. Picks that won't be there, because we'll have traded them to Orlando.

So unless the scrubs that we pair next to Dwight magically turn out to be decent, it's a first or second round exit.

I guarantee you that Orlando is salivating over Donuts, Lamb and Parsons, if they're thinking about trading Howard to us.

Too bad teams can't take flyers on 17 year old HS kids anymore.

Why do you think he got the Dallas pick or the Toronto pick? To either pick a player for themselves or so he doesn't have to include the Rockets own pick

How do you think we got Lowry?

    Dragic?

    Courtney Lee?

    Llull?

    Scola?

We didn't draft any of them (except Llull but we bought that pick with cash)

I agree. A huge upside lineup. In the summer of 2014 we might possibly be talking about a run at the championship. The possibility of Howard at the 5 and D-Mo at the 4 makes my dick hard. The antithesis of the Bynum - Gasol mess in LA. Howard, a defensive monster scoring 20+ a game and sucking in every rebound. D-Mo, a 7 footer with serious range, court vision, passing (and yes I watched 10 Prokom games) and a back to the basket and face up game, with 3 point range. And I probably do not need to go into the upside of Lin, Lamb and Parsons.

That hopefully is what Morey has engineered. All hail Morey.

I would only trade for Howard if we only give up one of the rookies and it can't be Lamb.

Personally, I'd rather keep all our picks and rookies but Morey jumped the gun and waived Scola, signed $50 million to Lin and a backup Center so we are in for a helluva year, regardless of renting Howard or Bynum for a year and unless we are in the lottery again, I am pretty sure we have to give up our pick to Atlanta, so tanking may not matter.

Then why is Orlando trading him???? Using your logic he is guaranteed to stay with them for the money.

Do you think Dwight will not be b****ing and moaning to leave. Do you realize how big of a distraction that would be

There are no guarantees Howard will even be the same player after his back injury yet you would gut the team for him.

Seriously... The guy turned the fans on him... Why would Orlando keep him after that? And why on earth would he opt in if he didn't care about the guaranteed money? Because he was coming here? He cares alot about money if he didn't he would never have opted in and would've left in free agency from whatever team he was traded to

He already said that no matter where he is traded to, he will play out the season.

Once we get Dwight, there's no way we are trading him before the trade deadline. That leaves us with free agency. He will either sign and get an extra $25 mil or walk and go to another team. Which, if I remember correctly, can't be Brooklyn anyways because they just signed Williams and Wallace. Just got Johnson's huge contract. And Brook Lopez getting a max contract.

Are you willing to call his bluff and see if he will let 25 mil go? That's a risk I'm willing to take.

For me, worse case scenario would be a sign and trade in free agency in which we get stuff to rebuild anyways.
