We must not forget where the all-star game is. Considering how today's player act especially Howard it will play a big influence in his in addition to the extra dough

He wants to be a national brand. When he gets to play next to Lin, he'll realize he can be a GLOBAL brand.

I have no proof and actually don't think he hates ATL, but I have seen folks on the Magic board alluding to Dwight hating the Hawks, and they laughed at the notion of him playing there. This was awhile ago when JJ got traded, and I didn't have an account then.

Nowadays, any superstars in this league are able to play anywhere they prefer.

Carmelo (tho not a superstar in my book), NY Knicks
    LBJ, Miami Heat
    Nash, LAL

If Howard wants to play for either the Nets or Lakers after next year, he will get his wish.

The only way I see Morey signs Howard is to have an agreement with Howard first. If he won't sign an extension with Rockets by trading deadline, he will HAVE to agree with a S&T packaging him to LAK or Nets.

Morey isnt as dumb as some posters here indicated. He will protect himself in case DH wont sign an extension.

But I just dont see it happening.......unless DH despises Magic so much that he would rather play half a season here than in Orlando.

Dwight is already big in China he's like the 3rd most popular player in China behind Kobe/Lebron.

These players were free agents when they moved. Dwight is not. That has a lot to do with whether you can go to your preferred destination.

smh.. that also says howard is "dead-set against the Lakers" and saying in the past he didn't want to play for the hawks is a long way from hating them.. You'll have to do better than that.

I think the best thing we can take from all of this is to not believe anything that isn't a direct quote from Howard. There are a lot of people with vested interest in a guy like Howard that will say a lot of things to push their own agenda.

I don't know about you....but if I had people in my camp saying **** in the media I didnt say and I didn't agree with it or they were flat out lying on me....I would cut them off and refute in said media to keep the air clear.

Haven't seen Dwight refute anything so my guess is he might co-sign it.

    Just maybe.

If im Morey I give Orlando the choice of taking either Parsons or Lamb they can't have both.We need someone young to build around Dwigh/Lin duo.

    Lin
    Jrich
    Parsons
    Dmo
    Dwight

    or

    Lin
    Lamb
    Jrich
    Dmo
    Dwight

His agent refuted Rudolph's report. He is still taking a Brooklyn or bust approach. Not sure what else you want from him. His only leverage is saying I won't play for anyone but BK.

    Ask for proof...

NOT GOOD ENOUGH! I NEED BETTER! I NEED TO HEAR FROM DWIGHT HIMSELF THAT HE HATES ATLANTA!! URGGGGGHH!

Well if we have articles saying he doesn't want to play in Houston and those are good enough...what's the problem here?

None of these things were said by Howard himself. All your going to get is 'sources'. 'Sources' close to Howard, 'sources' close to situation, sources, sources, sources, blah blah blah.

And Dwight never said he didn't want to come to Houston.

Those are just more articles with more sources.

Maybe we can stop this back and forth of "He's DEFINITELY leaving if he comes here. He's DEFINITELY going to be a rental" or "He's DEFINITELY staying here because of this, this, and that." No one knows a damn thing and to act or say you do...you're lying. You and I don't know if he'll stay or go, you and I don't know what the Rockets are even offering.

While all that's true, Josh has an attitude AND I've seen him outright quit on the court.

Toss in the big salary and him being a jack (I know he hasn't settled for the brick as much of late) .....

    But, hey, he's Dwight's friend.

That's what it's come to.

Just say NO and go au natural.

And he hasn't denied that "only BK!" stance, huh?

    Is that made up too?

I bet all those sources saying he does not want to play for Houston is mostly the Disney channel ESPN..... which is based in the East coast.... and what teams are in the east coast ummm.... ding ding ding Brooklyn and New York.... and does anyone know a correlation amongst the team Howard has potential in going? ESPN Los Angeles, ESPN Dallas, ESPN New York/Brooklyn, ESPN Boston, and ESPN Chicago.....
