He's only offering his opinion. He might not have good sources, but he has been preaching with logic since the supposed Brooklyn deal was imminent. He knew the deal was crap, and he has consistently stated he thinks Houston's package goes to ORL in whichever deal that happens.

He's been right most of the time. I think he even knew the Nets deal was bogus even though everyone including Woj was saying it was all but done.

Mejia is much more balanced and realistic than Rudoph or those jackwagons in NY and LA.

This means nothing ... A pistol shot is a beginning and a checkered flag is at an ending ...can't have it both ways.

He says " i shouldn't use nascar analogies " so seems to me like he might be saying it's just starting....otherwise it's gibberish

Or maybe he just doesn't realize the pistol shot is the start of a race.

Notice how he says we "finally have"...We know it started already. One can infer he meant its coming to a close.

What is up with Morey's ineptitude of delivering offers sheets?

I think it's close too. Knock on wood.

Lamb, Jones, Parsons, picks going out.

Hopefully, they show some class and expedite the process. Don't expect it tho due to butt-hurtedness.

Though Asik offer sheet not presented until today, deadline is TUES because attempts were made SAT. Interesting to see if Bulls take time..

Doe anybody else get the feeling that a deal with the Rockets is already agreed upon? Seems like Magic are deliberately stringing along Lakers/Cavs for fun and then back out just to see if they'd change their offers. Hopefully, we'll find out for sure this week.

Hm, there may be the framework for a deal in place but the Magic are noncommittal on it and trying to extract more. Like calling it "that sounds like a good starting point" and things like that. Trying to use the Lakers and Cavs to squeeze more out of more.

Hopefully that "starting point" winds up being the "ending point" when they realize it's the best they're gonna get.

...but he say's "shouldn't use NASCAR analogies" and that leads me to believe he may not be familiar with nascar... so changes to "pistol shot" ,start of a race ... He might think it drags on till training camp ?

Regardless he doesn't seem to have any insider info.I've been following him for awhile. He does seem to use more logic than most of these other clowns, and also be objective.

**** all of this. I'm just gonna go on what was originally posted in this thread, the David Aldridge report:

It makes a lot more sense, specially considering that were the only real serious bidders for a Dwight rental. With such limited competition there's no reason to overpay, like some of you want to. It also sounds a lot more like what Morey would do.
