Agreed because FIBA refs don't call reaching and contact fouls on the perimeter nearly as quickly as NBA refs. Teams USA has to take advantage of this laxness and rough up opposing PGs and perimeter players.
Their FIBA rank was displayed the other day, right before the Brazil Game. The UK is like #43 in the world. They didn't even come close to qualifying for the Olympics, and wouldn't be competing there if they weren't the host country.
can someone post the time of the exhibition game tonight, last time i checked espn i think i got the wrong time for the game. any help would be appreciated and reped
I'm watching a stream right now, and it's the USA - GB game? Is the Argentina game coming up right after, or...?
Getting Durant from OKC has just about as much chance as us getting LeBron from Miami: Ain't gonna happen. Game is pretty good so far, but the team went away from Durant for a while; dunno why.
this team has been amazingly bad on fastbreaks in these exhibition games. i'm sure they have a lot of transition baskets just by accident but every time they have 3 guys and have to throw any sort of pass it seems more likely to end up in a turnover then a successful attack. either the pass itself is off target, or it's forced into traffic or the guy doesn't catch it or 2 guys are running within 2 feet of each other and get in each other's way. they should dominate those opportunities and instead are helping to keep games close instead of blowing them open.
I can't deny the fact that I love it when our superstars get called for traveling. That's something that's terribly wrong with the NBA.
Just started watching midway in the 3rd quarter. This team doesn't seem to be coming together like the squad in 2010. Their chemistry is terrible and guys don't know what their roles are on offense.
