WOW. Better then tdk and best of series. Its not just about the 'performance' which holds a movie but how the story ties everything together. Tdk did not of that for me unlike the first and third one. Amazing way how the whole story came together, and bane was incredible.
Spoiler.......And can anybody explain furthermore the scene where Alfred is sitting at the end and spots Bruce, i thought at first that was his imagination like when he mistakened him for the other guy at the beginning. My buddy told me catwomen was also with him?
I like it a lot. However I like TDK better, the moral of that story was more to my liking than in TDKR. Spoiler I wasn't happy with the ending. He should have died, that would have been a much better ending. It is a typical hollywood feel good ending. It would have been so much more powerfull if he did indeed sacrafice himself for his city. Now just like after the second movie the whole reaction of the city is based on a lie
Spoiler He did die, but not in the realistic sense. Apart from Selina and Alfred nobody knows that Bruce Wayne is alive. Everybody also thinks batman is dead, which Blake is going to become
I wouldn't say he was a puppet but more like they were co-leaders. None of their mission would have been possible without Bane. He was just as much the leader. Ashiin, Spoiler Gordon and Fox both know he's alive as well
Spoiler So in other words he didn't die. I do not care if nobody knew he is alive, he is alive. He didn't sacrafice himself for the good of the city. And all the actions of the city are based on a lie.
Spoiler I think he really did die and Alfred was just imagining about what could've been. No way he makes it out of that nuclear blast. Nolan's plot holes aren't Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull type plot holes.
All three films were great...best comic adaption on film ever IMO. If I had to rank , I'd put TDK>BB>TDKR. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't mean TDKR is bad, it's just that the movie lacked the "tightness" in story-telling from the first two film. I think Nolan had A LOT to tackle with in this one and it's amazing he managed to wrap everything up so nicely at the end. The problem with so many characters and so many subplots is that, emotionally, you're everywhere. There's the civilians, the police officers, the main characters, the supporting characters, the villains...the list goes on and on. Whereas in the first two films, there is one villain and one hero and that's it. The reason TDK was the best film goes down to the fact that it's all about the Joker vs. Batman....no side stories, no subplots, no other characters to distract us. And Heather Ledger nailed that role perfectly.
I need to re-watch batman begins, I only watched it once and don't remember it too well. I loved TDK, and it was better than TDKR. TDKR was also great. Did not see the twists coming up at all. Solid ending, loved JGL ever since he was on 3rd rock from the sun, happy that he is becoming an elite hollywood actor. Anne Hathaway was great as Catwoman. She pulled it off very well, not to mention was sexy. Way better than the ugly-ducking terrible casting that was Rachel in TDK. Same with Marion Cotillard. The casting was better in TDKR, but the story was better in TDK. Had more tension imo and the scene where Batman takes down the building with Joker in it was amazing.
Unfortunately this was his swiss cheese movie. Plot holes everywhere. Spoiler Bane and Talia are masterminds that have been plotting the demise of Gotham City for a very, very long time. They discover Batman's true identity, she infiltrates his organisation, they find and break into his weapons cache, etc, etc, etc but they somehow did not have the aptitude to place an armed soldier to ensure that he didn't escape from his prison. Bane was SURPRISED when he discovered Batman in Gotham City. You're surprised that a 6'5 athlete who trained in the league of shadows managed to escape from a well that a prepubescent, malnourished girl escaped from?! Spoiler Gotham city has historically been a really bad place. So why then are the police officers, a paramilitary force, incapable of operating like one? Here's riot police in training http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbFSVh1mmiw Why would they have every single officer on duty run blindly into the sewers when they're aware of a terrorist organisation's presence in Gotham? Why would they all line-up and walk without any arms INTO A SIEGE OF TANKS? They were as stupid as the stormtroopers from Star Wars and it was cringeworthy. Spoiler Bane and Talia are ruthlessly evil but instead of killing the police force, you know, the one group that can stop you, they instead keep them all alive. Spoiler Bruce Banner... I mean Bruce Wayne survives a freakin' NUCLEAR EXPLOSION

People have alot of questions about the ending, heres my interpretation Spoiler I think what nolan was trying to do was do an ending where bruce wayne has finally come to terms with his parents death...i liked the ending bc he kills bruce wayne and finally moves on, happy. He also leaves the batman behind as a symbol in blakes hands, a symbol he created that can never die. He kills bruce wayne and is reborn. It was a great ending to me. my 2 cents
Hahhahahah, this is awesome.... Even to that extent, I still enjoyed it for what it is... That 1st half of the film, man it was tough to sit through...
Spoiler true on that, and to add more important to me was coming to terms with Rachels' death. Once he was able to finally rise from his emotional pain that helped him realize he could be involved once again and have a life Alfred alluded to...
Spoiler i loved that they never referred to Catwoman as Catwoman, it was just inferred. also, they "ears" were ingenious. not actual ears of a cat but the perception just from flipping the goggles up. after some more time to think about it, i have one major gripe though. i really wish Bruce died. him coming back really cheapened Alfred's crying scene.
I don't know what it was about this line but this line got to me: Spoiler "A hero can be as simple as a man putting his coat around a little boys shoulders and reassuring him the world hadn’t ended yet.”
Spoiler It did cheapen Alfred's tears, but there was great satisfaction in seeing him happy in the end, after seeing Bruce and Selina. The entire trilogy gets a 10/10. Greatest superhero trilogy/movies of all time IMO. I can not get enough of BB, TDK, and TDKR.
