Cleveland isn't his home town. Akron is. Akron people hate Cleveland. Its like calling saying Houston the home town of someone from Beaumont.
Well at least with the "Decision" there was a reason for all the hype and anticipation, and at the end of the day despite people looking down on it the Decision special raised 1M for charity. THe Dwightmare oth is just Dwight crying about how he wants to go to Brooklyn. At least with Lebron, he left Cleveland for a legitimate bball reason, those guys have an idiotic FO who can't do anything right (ask Irving, who's playing with Thompson and that other SG instead of Valanciunas and Robinson/Barnes/Lilliard). Dwight just wants $$$$, and is punking out Melo style.
LeBron easily for the casual fan. Dwight in a landslide for fans that care enough to talk basketball on the internet like us.
Both of them are Gay. Lebron & Dwight are both premadonna's. As much as ppl want to say Lebron had no say so in the FA's/or players traded to the Cav's are living in a made up world. Lebron is the same person that couldn't and still can't take critisim from media and fans and basically turned his nose up and a huge F-U to the "common man" who ultimately pays his salary. I still don't respect Lebron for what he said cause he still feels the same way. He admitted to everyone this past playoffs that he doesn't foul out of games.…*blank stare*…(every bball player fouls out of games @ some point in their respected careers). Not to mention he complains damn'er every time he doesn't get a call (fact). ending with this for LBJ, "The Decision". It doesn't get more Diva than that. Dwight Howard is coming in a close 1st for being a true Diva. The only way he will over take LBJ for biggest Diva is if he does the decision pt. 2 and he wears the superman cap while he plays. This era of NBA is the biggest load of crap ever. Carmelo is tied with Dwight. Cause let's not forget how his movement was going when he was leaving Denver. B/c the Rockets were in the middle of those trade rumors too. Peace.
LeBron absolutely carried the Cavs for, what, 9 years? He NEVER had a true All-Star playing alongside him (Mo Williams? Anderson Varejao? LOL), and he still took the Cavs from being basement-dwellers into perennial finalist threats. Dwight Howard was surrounded by excellent talent for many of his seasons, with players like Rashard Lewis and Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson. Moreover, Dwight's "dominance" has to be asterisked by the fact that he's pretty much the only true center left in the NBA, and when there was a peer like Yao Ming, Dwight got outplayed (granted, he was younger then). LeBron's mistake was the way he left. Dwight's just doing everything wrong.
Dwight, b/c he complains about not wanting to play for the Magic and then opts in for one more year. Then asks to be traded AGAIN and tries to dictate where he wants to go. Newsflash Dwight you're not a free agent. He is an indecisive little girl.
We're in Houston. Of course we'll vote Dwight, he dragged us into this. Imagine how much different this poll would be if we lived in Ohio.
Well even if you look at it objectively the answer is still DH. Objectively speaking LBJ's decision lasted on offseason (around 3 months?), while the Dwightmare has been going on for almost two seasons, and still no end in sight. WHo knows, maybe DH will sign another 1 year contract and prolong the agony More important though is that with LBJ, he already knew where he was going, all the speculation was him teasing the media and hyping up the "Decision" special. One thing the people here forget is that fallout happened AFTER the Decision, once LBJ had "shocked the world" by leaving his sorry ass team with the incompetent FO. There wasn't that much drama with LBJ, just speculation, because as I said LBJ has hinted he already knew what he wanted and was just telling everyone to watch the decision special. In DH's case seems he literally doesn't know where he wants to go, and him, his agent and Orlando are all sending out false reports everyday. Seriously, DH's saga is more frustrating and it isn't even close.
Bron wasn't going back and forth and changing his mind like a lil b!tch, getting coaches and GMs fired and everything. Dwight set the bar for future sports drama stories.
Lebron's decision was like a Huge **** you out of nowhere Dwight's saga is actually like a day time soap with a new episodes coming out with twists and turns everyday for the past season..
How can anyone vote for LeBron here? "The Decision" left a bad taste in people's mouths, but when LeBron always played well for his team whether it was the Cavs or Heat. Dwight basically destroyed the Magic with his prolonged BS.
I disagree. He was a UFA, if I remember right. It's not like he tried everything he could do to get out of Cleveland, during the middle of the season. And like a poster said, I don't know how people can vote for LeBron, in this poll. He went on TV and broke the hearts of CLE fans, during the offseason. Howard got his coach fired during season, while opting in for god knows why. The only way Orlando's situation is better than Cleveland's, is that Orlando will get something in return for Howard leaving, whereas Cleveland didn't get anything.
