Anyone know where I could buy sod in NW side of town?

    Lowe's and Home Depot doesn't have any and won't have any available until next year. Houston Garden nursery requires you buy in bulk like 400 plus sq ft for around 130 bucks. I just need around 120 sq ft or less but can't find any other place that sells. If not, is top soil a good alternative until I can get sod? Thanks!

    There is a place that just sells turf on 290 outbound between Huffmeister & Telge.

    We had a dog in our back yard that dug holes and trampled on the grass. That and the fact that the grass was not watered for about a month essentially killed it. So there's this huge patch in our back yard that's nothing but mud. I'm wondering if adding extra top soil will keep it from getting worse.

    You mean Houston Garden Center? That is between Cypress N. Houston and Barker Cypress. The place I am talking about only sells turf. It is right next to the hospital. I believe it is called 290 Grass Depot or something like that.
