I read this in Steven A Smith's voice....damn. I saw this on the news in Australia, and my heart was torn. I send my prayers out to the affected families, may God comfort you in these tragic times.
This is the first time Im entering this thread and didnt want to go through 22 pages...but...FBI staged? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/O9aVMfYR8to" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> And a separate article... http://www.naturalnews.com/036536_James_Holmes_shooting_false_flag.html
I managed to read the first couple paragraphs but stopped because it seriously seemed like the article was gonna blame it on bath salts. So it was a conspiracy angle instead?
I understand what you're saying, and I had a feeling someone would take my post this way. I'm not saying kids can't watch this or other movies with violence, it's just hard for people especially in these days were we have 12, 13, 14 year old girls gettin pregnant, same age kids dealing drugs out there or robbing people/stores, it's really just that much more you have to try to explain to these kids and would probably be better off finding out about at the proper age.
Damn I wasn't done, but again I'm not saying everyone will turn into these kids will turn into this. Just that it's easier for them to learn at the right age naturally instead of leaving them to figure out on their own.
And this is the job of parents....to not leave them alone to figure it out. The other 22 hours of the day are probably more important than the 2 you spent watching the movie.
News flash: Your kids already know about sex, violence, drugs, and prostitution. You're not shielding them from anything.
Yeah it was wrong on all levels when you think of it. I would never bring a baby to the movies just in fear of the baby interrupting the movie with a bunch of crying.
Sorry for not reading the whole thread yet, but why was CaseyH adamant throughout multiple posts that the gunman's house was not booby trapped? Was he being sarcastic?
I'm just staying out after it was obvious people like rocketman just want to show up and talk crap was in massive rage yesterday
I respect this. And I understand, you just don't want the Holmes guy to live and get the satisfaction. Also, respectable.
Sorry if posted. Aurora theater shooting: Stories of victims killed emerge Names of victims killed in the Aurora theater shooting emerged Saturday, along with details about those who lost their lives: Veronica Moser will always be six years old. The "vibrant" little girl, who was bragging four days ago about learning how to swim, was one of the 12 people who died in the Aurora theater shooting Friday, said her great aunt Annie Dalton. "It's a nightmare right now," said Dalton. Ashley Moser, Veronica's mother, remains in critical condition at Aurora Medical Center. The 25-year-old was shot in the neck, and doctors are unable to remove the bullet. Moser also suffered a gunshot wound in the abdomen. She passes in and out of consciousness, Dalton said, and does not yet know that her daughter has died. Doctors said that Moser, who was recently accepted to medical school, will hopefully recover with some use of her hands, Dalton said. If he ever makes it to the general population, he better not drop the soap in the showers. Inmates are taking dibs on killing Holmes. -------------------------------------------------- http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nat...ing-article-1.1119173?localLinksEnabled=false EXCLUSIVE Remorseless mass-murder suspect James Holmes was locked up alone Saturday over fears that the self-proclaimed Joker would become a target for other inmates. The man accused in the Colorado movie theater massacre was still behaving erratically on the day after his rampage at a midnight screening of “The Dark Night Rises” — the last film in the Batman trilogy. “Let’s just say he hasn’t shown any remorse,” a jail employee told the Daily News. “He thinks he’s acting in a movie.” A released inmate said Holmes’ behavior behind bars was increasingly irrational. “He was spitting at the door and spitting at the guards,” the inmate told The News. “He's spitting at everything. Dude was acting crazy.” Holmes, 24, was also placed on suicide watch in solitary confinement before eating a jailhouse breakfast of grits and sausage, according to a cafeteria worker. Two other just-released inmates said the concerns of Arapahoe Detention Center officials over Holmes’ life were well-founded. “All the inmates were talking about killing him,” Wayne Medley, 24, said as he left the facility. “Everyone was looking for an opportunity. It’s all they could talk about.” Freed inmate Dima Danilov, 22, said the suspect’s face was covered with a red towel when he arrived at the jail about two hours after 12 people were killed and 58 wounded inside an Aurora, Colo., multiplex. Holmes — who had dyed his hair red — was also wearing red clothing beneath the black body armor that terrified moviegoers saw when he opened fire early Friday morning, Danilov said. Jail guards “blacked out his windows with duct tape so no one could see him,” said Danilov. “He was cuffed in the back and had leg shackles. Six officers were walking him.” The deranged suspected killer, a former honors student and Ph.D. candidate, said nothing and walked slowly to his cell. Danilov said that if Holmes was released into the general jail population, “he won’t live to see Monday’s court appearance.”
