Dwight update: Not close to a trade with Rockets

I agree, I like new threads with new news so I don't have to read thru these large threads.

Sometimes I think people that complain about new threads would rather just have one single thread titled Rockets.

If you've been here long enough, then you should know if there's anything SIGNIFICANT news that has been updated, there would probably be about 5 new threads on it. And then 5 other threads discussing the implications of it.

You would know that long threads like these only keep a discussion going while people's waiting. Because there's absolutely no chance any major updates get lost in the shuffle. Because you know there are at least 10 or 100 people who would instantly make a new thread on the update if one is not on the first page.

Houston fans are getting tire of updates that have absolutely zero substance to them.

 

Honestly the best way to check on any updates is refresh the home page on CF. Clutch is pretty quick about posting significant updates on Twitter. The same goes with the ESPN NBA home page. Just read their twitter updates. Most of it is garbage but you never know.

Nothing has changed. Dwight is still in Orlando.

 

Would it be too much trouble for someone with power to change this thread title to something more general? Like Official Dwight Howard Thread, or something. I know, completely pointless, but my OCD is a b**** :grin:

"I don't know who wrote that, but I've read that as well," Scott said Friday in a telephone interview from Las Vegas, where the Cavaliers finished summer league with a 3-2 record after a 98-64 victory over New York. "No, we're not very close. We're not very close at all."

...One of the reasons Bynum supposedly was interested in joining the Cavs was his close relationship to Scott. That relationship was news to Scott and more proof that the trade is more rumor than fact.

"I know Andrew, and I've seen him in L.A. on a number of occasions," Scott said. "We've talked briefly on almost every one of those occasions. I think he does have respect for me and what I've done in that Laker uniform and probably what I've done as a coach. But as far as having a very close relationship, I don't know who wrote that, but, no, that's not the case."

Bynum's agent, David Lee, said on Thursday that he had not spoken to the Cavs about Bynum and said he couldn't imagine any team trading for his client without having that discussion first.
