This is my case for keeping E'twaun Moore. Now i am not a numbers guy, so i don't know anything about the contract situation. I know the Rockets aren't looking to keep him, but they should think about doing so. This guy is a pretty good two way player. Check the stats. http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/E-Twaun-Moore-5289/ Didn't know he had been to Europe. What do you all think?
How do we manage minutes? Letting players go is not all that bad... they can be developed elsewhere Rotation and spots are limited
Rockets just don't care right now. Its all about contracts. We cut Leuer before brockman, thats crazy. But its all because of the contracts and moore isn't going to change what were trying to do.
Without knowing Morey's master plan, it's hard to have an opinion about whether we should keep him or not. Will we be trying to win games with a superstar in the middle, or will we be tanking for a lottery pick? If we make a trade, what players may be coming back? He sounds like he may have some potential, but I think the D-league probably has a lot of other players with similar potential. I'm going to let Morey worry about it.
Jason Richardson? The fact is, the Rockets currently have 16 fully or partially guaranteed contracts. They're not going to guarantee a 17th unless absolutely necessary or unless there is some other asset to be gained in doing so. They'll find another player the quality of an E'Twaun Moore. Move on. Nothing more to see here.
Celtic fans don't really seem to care to much about him, some think he should go back to europe and develop more ..
I think you got the quote wrong. Facts are, the team filled with size now. We need good defensive guards. Oh well.....
I would love to keep him, but as Bima says, we already have 16 somewhat guarenteed contracts. Course a trade or 2 might alleviate the situation.
Both Douglas and Livingston are plus defenders at the guard position. Also, there's this whole Dwight Howard trade they're trying to pull off that could radically alter the roster. Chris Duhon and Jason Richardson are two likely candidates to come back to Houston. Guaranteeing ANYONE's contract at this point is just not good roster management. The 7 guaranteed PF's on the roster aside.
What ? ...got what quote wrong ? I was reading some celtics forums and most posters have a low opinion of the guy .. some don't even think he'll get picked up by another team after we cut him ... Seems some fans like his "heart" but most agree he is destined for d-league or europe.
