I don't want to jump to conclusions yet since we don't fully know the reasons for this. For all we know right now he could be a member of Al Qaeda, but the location of this shooting will inevitably lead to discussions about violent media. I doubt we want a society where we start censoring anything that might motivate a disturbed individual.
When the V-Tech shooting happened I didn't like it that people were making this an issue about Korean / Asian culture and that some Asians felt they needed to apologize for Choi. Choi happened to be Korean but being Korean didn't make him crazy and as an Asian I am not embarrassed or apologizing for him and don't feel the need for collective guilt anymore than Norwegians do about Breivik.
I heard that from another source as well. No way he kicked in a steel fire door. I also heard another rumor that theater staff left that door open a lot in order to sneak a smoke. But it's all speculation at this point.
i don't believe in torture but i would make an exception for this guy my heart goes out to all those people who lost loved ones... i can't understand the hate that people have to make them want to do something like this

Apparently one girl who was fatally shot was also invoked in the Toronto shooting at a mall last month and she narrowly escaped that.
I'm on the cops side in 99% of things until it involves the shiest totally hitting the fan. I will be shocked if there are actually any booby traps. Much less sophisticated. I am sure they have tons of alphabet soup out there with jackets drinking coffee pondering how to collect evidence safely.
Cults Gangs Terror groups... As much as we'd like to believe there's not much of this out there, it's everywhere. You get yourself into the wrong type of group, already being mentally disturbed, and let these people polute your mind even more into thinking this is the right way to live and there is no other. It's sad because with the internet access and technology now a days it's easier and easier to plan and execute these horrific crimes agains totally innocent people. They need to be burned alive... compassion is not for the wretched.
You can buy 80% of those materials at a Local gun shop and Army surplus store. I've seen all kinds of folks buying all kinds of weapons. Makes prepping for Armageddon worth it.
