Good comments, Orlando fan here, tough to be an Orlando fan. I agree I don't see Hennigan making a trade to LA unless Cleveland gives up their rookie draft pick and taking on contracts and giving at least 2 number one picks.

It makes the most sense to trade with Houston. I think the Magic want at least two of your young guys minimum - hoping for 3 - Lamb, Parson and maybe a third along with Kevin Martin.

The Magic also want to dump 3 contracts at least - possibly 2, but I don't know if Hennigan will do that - JRich - can play and isn't a bad contract, but doesn't fit with Magic - Duhon - only 7 million remaining - worthless player, and probably Hedo - only 2 years with 2nd year only 50 percent guaranteed and I know people don't like Hedo, but he can play and he tends to play well with Howard.

I believe that the Magic are going to hold out for that Toronto first round pick and ask for another 1st round pick.

It's a lot, but I don't see the Magic budging much from that. I do think Houston needs to grab him and get him in Houston and work on keeping him there - I think Houston has a real shot to keep him or there could be a trade with LA if he threatens to go to Dallas or Atlanta that Houston might be able to do, but I don't know that Dwight wants to go through it all over again and Jeremey Lin signing should help things.

But if the Rockets don't offer very close to that then I don't see the Magic making the move. Lakers and Cavaliers offer right now looks like a joke.

It looks like Hennigan is just letting people put together offers and see what they can come up with and consider it and when you get a joke offer like Brooklyn you just say it isn't good enough, same with LA right now - let them try to make a deal happen and if they offer a joke nothing happens.

I hope you get Howard and the Magic get some picks and players and dump a few contracts - Hedo and JRich can still play - they aren't worthless although they are to Orlando and Hedo is a tradeable contract next year with only 50 percent guarantee - I think around 12 million - could help offering an expiring for another player. I like your GMs activity level.

Magic are going to suck next year even if all of the above happened, but we hope the players will hustle and that draft picks will help, but a Dwight type trade may be necessary in the future. Good luck, we are routing for you with a trade similar to the above. I honestly think Henny wants more that what I stated above, but I think a deal could be done for something simliar to the above - it's just a matter of how long do people want to wait to get a deal done, if Houston steps up Howard is Houston bound. Howard also has a good relationship with Olajuwan.

Rockets should just end all of this bs and just sign our rookies to their rookie contracts that way we can't trade them for 30 days.

They could leak that they are going to do that, it might motivate Orlando to move now.

That's great. If only Dwight were a free agent, then that might matter.

And you will be the main one complaining when he sits out and doesn't play. When he's a cancer in the locker room you will be screaming trade him

I realize being an Orlando fan you would like to think that's what your team could obtain, and if all things were equal it would probably be a fair deal. Meaning that there was a guarantee Dwight would sign extension. But to be honest that scenario you just suggested will never happen.
Rockets can't give up that much without a guarantee. Lamb, Parsons, plus one more, and 2 future 1st rd picks? And we take back 3 bad contracts. Not happening, specially with the reported trade package with Cleveland being so bad. If anything that package drives down the price for Dwight.
Right now I would say the best you could hope for is Martin, 2 1st rd, 2 2nd rd, Patterson, Morris/White, and some non guaranteed contracts

Well he's really pushing for this Dwight trade...A One Year Rental is not worth it and some reason he think it is..that's him tho:rolleyes: ...like I said if Dwight would agree to be in Houston I would be singing a different tune but he won't so forget him

Dwight doesn't want everyone in the NBA to absolutely loathe him. Jarrod Rudolph who has been Dwight's mouth as of late has gone on record as saying that if Dwight ends up staying in Orlando that he is going to be a professional about it. He is going to be a professional about it as well if he goes to Houston. If he just sits there and pouts and refuses to play there will be dire consequences for him. If he doesn't decide to sign on as a free agent at the end of the year, where will he go? He won't be able to sign with the Lakers or Nets...I doubt he will go play in Atlanta with Josh Smith...There won't be many places to choose so I think the chances aren't that small for him to sign with Houston

Highly doubt that the Rockets ship both Lamb and Martin...but that may Happen...

Martin Patterson Morris and White could work!
