He could also just fake that first hook, and while the triple team jumps at him, lean in for the and-1. Instant 3pt play.

Either way, sweet move to have in his arsenal.

Why does anyone think that's a travel? He takes a dribble to do a spin move, establishes his left foot as his pivot, and never lifts it before he shoots. He doesn't even take another step with his right while shooting (which is legal anyway). That's like saying Dream traveled on all his fakes.

he's ambidextrous. he writes with his left hand but plays with this right.

Not really impressed. The release point of the fake is very close to the release point of the actually shot...so, you can just stand there and wait for the wind-up mumbo-jumbo to finish and block it...since he doesn't even jump. In fact, you can bite on the fake come down and jump right back up, since the release points are pretty much the same.

I'm pretty sure I could do that in a practice with no one guarding me. If he did this in a game he'd get it stolen.

I tried it in an empty court all by myself and still go blocked.

I love the posters providing real, honest-to-god critiques of this obvious HORSE move as if he's going to use it in an actual game.

ClutchFans in the offseason. There's nothing better. lol

Dammit Hakeem. Now you've taught another non-Rocket player an unstoppable move.

Not a travel at all. I wish you guys would actually learn the rules of basketball before declaring everything a travel.

After the dribble, he takes a step and then establishes his left foot as the pivot. He then does the rest of the move without lifting his pivot at all.

    Not a travel.

lol...after I posted my "critique" I almost edited to say they are playing HORSE. You can see Durant going right to the same spot.

it's not a new move. a left-handed hook with mumbo-jumbo prior is Lebron's goto HORSE move.
