Has Houston given up on Howard?

Bosh went to Miami, Melo went to New York which equals Howard going to which sexy city... Hopefully we get Bynum.

Saw that. Like Rudolph, I would only expect YBR's info about Dwight himself, not about the Magic's plan for him.

These kind of reports will re-appear again 2-3 more times before we officially sign ASIK, so i think everyone should just take what ANYONE says with a grain of salt and stop being so gullible.

We have the best offer on the table by FAR , we have the most FLEXIBILITY of any team involved, and we have the most likeable asset (tor pick)orlando REALLY wants..

Its simple folks, Howard will NOT be traded without us being a part of the trade no matter where he ends up in, weather it be here or elsewhere

I for one still think Dwight has been and always will be bluffing, and him finally saying hes opening up to resigning in LA shows for a fact that he has no clue himeself what the **** is going on in his thick head, but that opens up a possibility that we would be able to "convince" him to stay, eventhough its a slight possibility he is still worth the risk.

Jones,White,Tor pick, Dal pick, Martin exp, Patterson
    For
    Howard, G.Davis

This is how i see the trade going down , because i think orlando goes full rebuild mode, therefore opting to trade their "longest" bad contract which is big baby...

Those YBR posts Fullcourt mentioned are interseting:

"Long story, just know im in touch with him and that rumor is false "

And for those that don't follow TrueBlueNation- that guy isn't some random jackass saying he has "inside scoop". Most of the people there trust him and he's provided good info in the past before it went public. I would still be weary just because it's an anonymous handle on a forum, but take it with more than a grain of salt.

Although I will say that Jarrod Rudolph does seem like a beta hanger-on mouthpiece for Dwight. Still, having insiders provide competing info is good entertainment.

To me bynum would be just as good for this organization as howard. He's a great, great player and if we can swoop in and get him with dwight on his way in to LA i would be insanely happy.

Bynum would have just turned 25 at the start of the season, we can offer him a 5 year extension next off season i believe. One that he has let known he would sign, and let known that he wants to be a houston rocket.

Thats at least 5 extremely productive years from one of top centers in the league, why wouldn't we all in for that? I know there's chances were taking, but these are the risk we should take.

Yes, there's a chance he's injured, theres a chance he'l break his cool every once in a while but again. (Probably) top 3 center for a full 5 years, you can't shoot down that potential of productiveness for this team.

I don't think you can factor in anything Dwight wants. That's where people are getting lost IMO. It doesn't matter what he says. Hennigan will take the fall if the deal is crap. And will look like a king after he is finished leveraging against us. Leaks and unnamed sources saying things are leveraging tools.

We are the best option but Morey is probably trying to trade him something close to a s**t sandwich for Dwight. They don't want that sandwich and will work whatever they want into the deal using LA. Id love to see Bynum extend in LA and then watch Hennigan get low balled by Morey in this deal.

Surprisingly enough, this ESPN article calmed me down and reminded me that we are in the driver's seat.

Dwight Howard OK to re-up for Lakers

What if the Magic hate Dwight so much they'll keep him for the remainder of his contract just to not offer him a new contract and make him lose out on all that money? /conspiracykeanu.jpg

lol Chris Broussard. I bet he heard about Rudolphs little tweet and then had two of his fake sources confirm it.

I believe him when he says Howard would sign in LA. I don't believe anything else he says. He's Howard's friend, that's about it. He doesn't have any clue what Hennigan is thinking.

Do any of these other teams have the non-guaranteed contracts that we do?

    -Brockman
    -Livingston
    -Harrelson
    -Forston
    -Simpson
    -G. Smith

Not sure what the salary totals out to (~$9-$10M?) for use in a trade, but that's probably only like $1.5 in partial guarantees. Not sure any other competing team can include those kind of savings in a trade. You could theoretically trade them straight up for Hedo, and the Magic immediately wash their hands of them and walk away. That has to count for something.
