Morey's life legit revolves around ping pong balls. Work & play.

Dwight doesn't want Houston I don't want Dwight. Really getting tired of all this dwightmare stuff. Just get Bynum and we'd give up less.

Well reasoned. But if we can't really get Dwight in the process it's worthwhile to outbid the Cavs in getting Bynum, even though he's injury prone. It's difficult to get a big man as good as Bynum and he's just 24. Hopefully our young core can gradually grow to become a contender in 3 years. Kobe will be 37 by then and Lakers will become a has-been.

Houston can tell Orlando that we aren't willing to trade away their future to acquire Bynum. We'd rather roll with what we have than gut our roster for him. If you insist on sending him to LA, you'll have to take Cleveland's *****ty deal.

Sources confirm @JRudolphSports report that Dwight Howard is ready to join Lakers. If traded to LA DH will re-sign long-term with team

Honestly, if the package we'd need to give up is the same for Howard or Bynum, we might as well just get Howard and worse comes to worse you flip him for Bynum at the deadline.

That said, if settling for Bynum means not having to give up as many assets or taking back bad contracts... Well...

If this is true it suggests that Dwight has suspicions on whether or not Orlando will do him a favor of sending him off where he wants. Probably feels he deserves it after all the great years he's given them.

I don't care if we get Howard. It would be swell if we did. But these are what I don NOT want:

    1. Bynum the punk
    2. Helping the Lakers get Howard

Now is the best time to trade for Howard. Either he signs the extension or our consolation prize is bynum at the trade deadline. Morey needs to get on those phones and make it happen....

    ALL IN on Dwight !

So don't better our own team just to hurt the lakers?

Nevermind that if the Lakers stand pat they can still make a run at a title...
