Lamb could do the same things in the NBA that he showed in Summer League. That shooting stroke won't go away, his long arms aren't getting shorter, the assassin's mentality won't turn beta, etc. Lamb has more potential while Parsons is just more NBA tested. Parsons doesn't really have the offensive arsenal of Lamb, while Lamb does have the defensive potential of Parsons.

Honestly, Jrich's contract isn't even that bad if he can get into shape. He's making something around $6m this year..

I'd imagine things get a little more interesting once Asik signs his OS. If not then definitely once the 3 day wait is over.

Cavaliers inform Magic & Lakers they are not willing to trade Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson, or Tyler Zeller in three team blockbuster.

    Legion Sports ‏@MySportsLegion
The Magic had shown interest in Tristan Thompson per source, Cavs made it clear they would not deal any of their young players.

RT @Probballdraft: League source says that the Cavs will not be including Anderson Varejao in any potential Howard deal.

I love how Orlando keeps trying to involve other teams to get the Rockets worried...and they keep hitting dead ends.

Rockets are really the only team they can deal with...and every day, theyre gonna get less and less. At this point, a combo of Martin, Morris, Patterson, 2 first round picks, 2 second round picks...thats probably the best they can do. Its not much, but if the Rockets can take back bad contracts then no other team can offer the Magic such a well rounded deal. Funny, before summer league, I thought all 3 rooks would be gone...then I realize how little other teams are willing to offer for an un-extended Howard...and now I see no need to give them any more than we want, because the minimum is still more than other teams are willing to give up.

Hahaha.... Seriously, what leverage does orl have at this point?

    Martin
    Patterson and/or Morris
    1st Rd pick
    2nd Rd pick

For Howard and let's say j rich

    Take it or leave it.

Terrance Jones > Tristan Thompson. Don't care where they were picked in their respective drafts, Thompson isn't anything special at all.

I hate ESPN as well, was just flippin through channels and saw some Dwight stuff. Just sharing what i heard. More than likely media hype to get the Rockets to offer more than what's already on the table.

I think the Rockets would be willing to take on J. Rich and then bringing back Courtney Lee (if cap room available). I'm sure in any trade with Orlando, Lamb and Martin most certainly would be included. I'm sure Morey has already offered different combos with Parsons and the 3 new guys, but i'm sure he has already made some conditions like "if you want both Parsons and Lamb, you only get the Dallas Pick and NYK Picks"... or something along the lines...

to be fair, Legion Sports is hardly a credible source.

Exactly...at this point, Im not even offering Parsons or Lamb. F that...just the lottery pick from Toronto alone is better than anything else they are getting offered. Throw in some random players to match the contracts that are coming back (JRich)...and leave it at that. Either way, Houston is happy because they arent in a situation where they NEED to make any moves. Orlando has no choice.

Hennigan can really learn a HUGE lesson this offseason. Welcome to the big leagues, rook.

The funny thing is... Rockets were willing to give up all 3 draft picks for Dwight on draft day... Lamb, Jones and White could have been tearing it up on Orlando's Summer League roster right now. Instead of having all 3, Orlando may only end up with 1 of the 3 (if Dwight is actually traded to Houston) lol
