His rebounding numbers for the "triple-double" game are not all that impressive considering it's the summer league so you can't project that he will be a solid rebounder. It's time he consider playing in the d-league
The Pacers would be such a great fit. A 4 who can do a little more offensively than catch-and-fumble is their one glaring bench need atm.
Really not understanding tge royce white hate. The only glaring weakness i see is that he struggles to score against length after establishing deep post position. He's rebounded well and passed phenomenally. Honestly it seems like when he posts up he's looking to dish more than anything, which is something that could be extremely useful.
It's just a couple people trolling. He's not our best rookie, but he has really impressed with what he's shown so far.
Let me guess: You're REALLY jealous of all the attention Sigmund and Dreamshake1 have been getting on ClutchFans.
you know it took dragic, Nash, nowitzki,...etc YEARS to be where they are now right? some really interesting people who have no sense of time and vision. how boring is it inside your heads? seriously. hating on Royce white is just pure stupidity. if you can't see his potential to be dominating close to Lebron, then y'all are just BLIND, no sense of vision at all. IT TAKES TIME FOR PLAYERS TO BE GREAT. it doesn't happen overnight. Jesus. I hate stupid people.
LeBron averaged like 21/6/6 as a rookie out of high school. It'd be impressive if Royce does even half of that, and I'm pretty high on Royce. Come on now.
Why did they waive Leuer AND Jordan? They could have gotten enough cap space to make the offer sheet to Asik by simply waiving Leuer and renouncing Dragic's bird rights. By my math, Houston will be nearly 1M (.9877M) under the salary cap after making the Asik offer.
My theory is they waived Jordan also in order to open up enough cap room to sign Jones, White and Lamb to the full 120% of their rookie scale contracts. Up until this point, those three have been unsigned and have been counting against the cap at 100% of the rookie scale. To sign all three, it would take .8584M in cap space, and it seems they opened up just enough.
But if Morey signs the Rookies, how soon can they be traded? Does this mean the deal does not include them? Parsons or Patterson, both traded instead?
That's not what i meant. My point was that signing the 3 rookies to 120% rookie scale contracts would require .8584M more in cap space. Rockets opened up 0.9877M after signing Asik to the offer sheet. They opened up just enough to sign the rookies and still be under the cap.
royce white showed me a little bit tonight but he is just a go with the flow type of player. If everything is rolling then he is doing his thing too. The scoring isn't consistent but the rebounding was, but at 6'8'' you can't really expect him to be a dominate rebounder. Royce White isn't half the player than Scola was for us
