Awesome... I was tired of that guy... It's been a crazy offseason here as a Rockets fan. So many trolls, so many fake accounts... I don't know what to do!!!
Sounds to me like we are more so talking to Orlando from two perspectives. Dwight straight up, you get this, this and this. Or three way with LA(we end up with Bynum) and they get less prospects/cap relief. Toronto's pick is gone, Kevin Martin is gone, and our 2014 will be gone too. Depending on if we get Bynum or Howard, Lamb will be going too.
Exactly if it based on what Cavs are offering we won't have to give up much to get Bynum if we are willing to take on some of those crap contracts. You can't expect to give up a ton and take on dung from other teams. Any GM would be able to sniff that crap a mile away.
Guys... Like I said before... ORL wants to rebuild... They want to tank and rebuild. The CLE story is legit... A source in CLE thinks its going to happen "eventually" is his exact words. Lakers NEED a third team to give the picks that ORL wants. Cle will glady give those for Bynum. CLE is high on Bynum and Irving being a great 1-2 punch. So LA can flip Drew to CLE for picks and a big expiring contract. Then trade those picks and that contract for Dwight. Ideally ORL wants to deal Dwight to the west and same goes with Lakers wanting Bynum in East.
I'm not one to overrate the Rockets assets and rookies. Though I don't see how the Cavaliers offer is any better than the Rockets. Maybe the Cavs can offer some of their own future draft picks, compared to Rockets offering their Toronto pick. Maybe Cavs add in other regular players, Tristan Thompson or Alonzo Gee. It all depends if Orlando thinks the Cavs would still suck if they get Bynum. It'd think Kyrie Irving and Bynum would be more competitive than Kyle Lowry and Andrea Bargnani
So all CLE is giving up for Bynum would be future picks and an expiring? So all we would give up if we switched spots with CLE is Martin plus picks?
It won't happen simply because the Rockets' offer will beat whatever the Lakers-Cavs come up with. This just seems like the same bluff that was going on with NJ-CLE. A whole lot of smoke, but no real fire.
Do you rmember what we got for a disgruntled Pippen? No way we dismantle the great core of youngsters we just got from the draft. Orlando will have to try their own luck with the next drafts. If we directly land Dwight, for sure one of them will be included, but if we are the third team landing Bynum, no need to give up one of them. By the way for Pippen we got principaly Walt williams, Cato, Stacey Augmon (washed up).
If you're talking about me, I don't know you by your username nor by the email you signed up with... email me and let me know.
Yes, so are Boris Diaw's, which was the point that the league has seen a player like him before. You could say we've seen Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson too, but they are obviously miles beyond Royce White.
smokescreens errrrywhere. Is this just a last ditch effort by Orlando to try to get us to up our offer before they have to accept what we have on the table, or are they going to continue with the leaking of these other offers to people like Bucher? I'm so sick of it
Spears just tweeted that Bulls, clippers, and heat are the players for Center Darko Milicic. Definitely a good sogb
