Extreme fans in NY, that's what happens. Same thing when Blake missed that 3 for the Lakers, death threats. But with Lin, there always seems to be some racial connotations. When he first came to the Knicks:
It's still better to be the man in a lottery team than to play in a border-line playoff team with a bunch of douchbags.
To sound like Lin actually care about "extra 5 million" is ridiculous, Lins possibly leading the NBA in endorsement rejected already
We haven't seen nothing yet. When Lin struggles and has a bad game next season, get ready for the huge backlash. It's going to be open-season on him, just like when some Heat fans were going full out racist on him. http://img200.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=006584795_fdghfhhgfh_122_499lo.jpg
Pathetic, especially those who write about "Loyalty". Why would anyone want to be Loyal to such disrespectful base? Furthermore, the Knicks declined Lin... Not the other way around...
New Yorkers talk as if they had a choice when they played Lin @ PG. That **** was pure luck. AFAIK, they were depleted at that time and before Linsanity happened, he was almost traded to the Raptors for some picks. What a bunch of assholes trying to get credit for giving Lin a chance. smh @ Knicks fans. You did not deserve to experience Linsanity first hand.
Lol at those fake ass fans. Keep saying new York gave him a shot and new york gave him a chance to shine and new york
They did it to Steve Smith and now they're doing it to Lin.. They're really giving NY fans a bad reputation. I know a few Knicks fans and they've been wishing him the best, if only all of them could be like that.
Wow... not only are NYK fans obnoxious and arrogant, they're also so freakin uneducated! How quickly they forget that Lin was also buried at the end of their bench until all of the PGs were injured. His contract also wasn't guaranteed until they absolutely had to! The Knicks had first dibs in giving Lin a new contract, but they chose to let Lin go explore his options and let the market dictate his value. Well... they found out what his value was and they couldnt afford it. Get over yourselves NY. Cant wait for the Rockets and Knicks to rumble in the big apple this year. It'll be so freakin amazing when Lin goes off for 30+pts, 10+ assists, 5+ rebounds, ZERO Turnovers in a Rockets 10+pt win!
Wait, are they wrong? Knicks gave him the chance while Rockets cut him. He was clearly looking for the money.
What a difference a few months make. Complete overhaul of this team and it's still far from done. Go Morey Go.
