We have no veteran point guards on the team. They lost Gogi to free agency, what other point guards are better than Lin on the FA Market? What's the point of giving him an offer and going through all of this if we come out with just Asik? Yes, I feel it would be pretty painful if we lost Lin though I'm not saying he's our savior.
