Difference between NYC and Houston is how ESPN will spin it because Houston is not an east coast team. If NYC got Lin and D12 it would be a major aquisitions and the Knicks would be instant contenders. Linsanity and D12 would be unbeatable. If Houston gets both Lin and D12 then that's stupid because Lin is overpaid and has not proven anything. Lin and D12 will not play well together and D12 will never re-sign in Houston.

"And if you think the Houston Rockets are contendahs after signing Lin and Dwight, you simply don't know basketball." - Stephen A. Smith
Nothing new here. Just repeating of what's been reported. Ian Begley(ESPN NY) on SC: Spoke w/ a team source that Knicks came to a decision and chose not to match. Knicks have not confirmed. While it's highly unlikely they change their mind, nothing official until tonight. What gave the Knicks pause was 3rd year of contract.

Exactly not to mention that we would also mostly have Big Baby and Jason Richardson along with some of the rookie or year 2 prospects we already have.
No, its a joke. I can tell his voice is copying buc lau off of ownage pranks. Or maybe that is him idk doubt it.
A great way to back at Houston. "Tell everyone that we are not pursuing Lin anymore" And match it at the last minute.
Knicks are a pathetic franchise. 1. Isaiah Thompson (nuff said) 2. "Will match up to a billion dollars" 3. No comment on contract at all (lol) 4. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Qxe2ky6MkXk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
