Not to be mean.....but why even worry about reviews of a movie that many of us purchased tickets for a month+ back? I personally don't want to even hear more than one word adjectives or a short phrase describing the experience.
Will be seeing this on Friday! Don't forget, Free Large Drink from AMC coupon: http://i50.tinypic.com/o8c76q.jpg :]]

Just want to rant about article titles for this movie. Why they hell are they containing possible/potential spoilers in the title!? I'm perusing news articles online and one of them says Spoiler Did Robin make an appearance in DKR? Then another one says something about what to expect and how to prepare yourself for the ending . Now I know that isn't much and I know it could just be media crap, but still...believe it or not there are some people who don't like to learn every little bit about a movie before they see it. Some people actually like going into it with a fairly clean slate and I will never really understand those who want to know what's going to happen before they see it Ok. I feel a little better
Batman Begins received an 85% rating and I feel it is better than TDK. If it manages to reach the 70s then we can start worrying lol
I read a review that summed it up perfectly: If you loved Batman Begins then you'll love Rises. I think people were expecting another Dark Knight that focused more on Joker and Harvey Dent than on Bruce Wayne himself.
If the first one was Batman Begins and the second one is Batman Returns why isn't the third one called Batman Ends or Batman Leaves? There's a $5 discount if you check for a phone upgrade at the register. One of them will end up being $5. If you bring your old Batman Returns or Batman Begins DVD, you'll get $5 back. You would end up paying $5 for both Blu-rays.
Nolan's second Batman film was The Dark Knight. This third one is essentially The Dark Knight Returns just a different title.
Can't have a batman movie marathon without the original batman movie <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4iCFAA_yM00" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
From what I can tell, all the negative reviews on RT basically complain that it's too long...it stands at 2hrs and 45 min... I dunno about them, but the longer the movie the better! I hate when action/epic/blockbuster movies clock in under 2 hrs.
And also complaining that it has too much action, lol... That is a good thing because when I go to the Dark Knight trilogy screening on Thursday, by the third movie, I'll be tired already and having more action is easy to digest at 2 in the morning....
Brain can't compute a "That's what she said" with that one. You can't complain it's TOO LONG, isn't that what SHE wants? Anyway, the longest movie I've seen is Blood In: Blood Out (Bound By Honor). That movie is full of action, excitement... so that's cool. But... I don't know if I can withstand three hours of the Bat guy's bad deep voice.
