Dwight supposedly prepared to sit out next season with Magic (if he's still there).

because their union sucks. the fact that nfl players end up destroying their bodies more than an nba player is irrelevant.

One random rumor from one random reporter. I know people want even more reasons to criticize him but this isn't one...yet.

What is it with the Magic that makes star players leave bitterly? First T-Mac, now D-Howard?

This is why Matt Forte and other players would hold out when under contract. Also take a look at the QB position, that's would you pay star NBA players. A guy like Lebron impacts the a basketball game as a much as a superstar QB. Don't tell me teams don't bend over backwards for Peyton, Drew Brees, Vick, Brady, and etc etc.

CBL once again jumping on the first thing he hears.

Dwight said he's gonna sit out the season and you want this guy?!

Those radio guys said we're giving up everything, so we really must be giving up everything!

    Step back and calm down.

Something about those (probably fake) rant tweets on GARM really made me think about this. Orlando has really been "unsuccesful" at keeping stars, and I wonder if that has a lot to do with the Magic themselves. T-Mac, Howard, Shaq, Penny, and to a certain extent Grant Hill. All these guys bolted first chance they could get, though I acknowledge that the circumstances haven't been uniform.

But my stance on Howard's behavior was much harsher before considering that. Since there are SO MANY "according to sources" rumors coming out that are ridiculously contradictory, I wonder if the Magic (or maybe the Orlando media??) are in the habit of playing media wars with their star players much more than other franchises/cities?

We'll see I guess. I'm happy for Howard to join, even if he doesn't want to stay. Given our current handicap in trying to acquire star players, I'll take the chance that a disgruntled Howard sign and trade is more likely to net us a star than just cap space.

It amazes me how y'all think Dwight Howard is a crybaby. First off, a source close to Howard. Really? That could be anyone making up stuff just to get a little attention. Heck it could be me. Secondly, Dwight has been always been a great player and great person with a sense of humor. If there are no quotes. Than don't believe it. Third, it also states it is a RUMOR. Yeah do you remember what is a rumor back in high school?

Right now I'm sure all Dwight wants to do is get better. He got done with a serious back injury -herniated disk. No one seems to care in the nba about the stars who get injured. The fans become disappointed, the organization loses $ and so does the nba. Same goes for the tmac situation. Nobody cared. It's sad that it came this way and if you read this far than props to you. Dwight is a great person. Don't let the media change your mind, they just want your attention Bcuz it's all about the $$$

P.s if you have to hate someone. Make sure they are quoted. I.e Carmelo and jr smith.

odd. I'm actually hoping for a ton more idiotic post/tweets/reports about DH. it could only help us because sooner or later somebody is going to have to stand up and put a end to it. and when that happens, some truths will be known. anyway, no sane man lets this crap build up as it ruins his rep.
