We absolutely can't let Lamb go IMO. Too much scoring talent.

Well this is a tough one. I like the rooks and all that, but you still make that Howard trade.

Thoughts on the game...White finally focused on one thing that helped his game overall!, Fortson might be the first player to get cut from Summer League! In all honesty the guy plays way to fast, careless, and is not a good PG. Machado is also quite reckless, and plays too fast, but he has the ability to be a much better PG(scary resemblance to Westbrook). Zoran will make the team and will be a first person off the bench...his game is the most ready for the NBA. Donuts...he too is ready for the NBA. Lamb...scary what he can do on a nightly basis, and his game is effortless! Jones should work on better ball control while bringing the ball up...but overall solid game. Overall, I like these rookies, regardless on whether they stay or leave, but the more and more they play together...the better they'll become.

The entire city of Houston doesnt want Howard if he is wanting to leave. The entire city of Houston wouldnt mind if this was the year to Tank! And the Rockets future looks amazing, if this core remains...

Note: Kevin Durant, Westbrook and Harden...also went thru hardships...before they got to where they are now!

    I don't think we should.

It's unlikely that we will win a title with him this season.
Then he will be gone the following season. So he will not contribute to the winning of a title in future seasons.

Then we will have to watch maybe one or two of our draftees possibly doing great on another team.

The rookies we got this year have a lot potential. To trade DH12 or not, It will depend on what is in the package.

I would trade for Howard with Future draft picks, absorbing bad salaries, and a Morris twin. I would not send over any of the new rookies. Lamb, Jones, White, D-Mo, and Parsons should be kept.

    These are my thoughts aswell.

They will only play better in time and with JLin at the point gaurd who really knows. If it all fails there are 4 or 5 lottery centers in next year's draft. So a loss may turn into a win in the long term. Keepping it together is really a can't lose. Good job DMtheGM.

Nobody said that Dwight will win us a title this year...But he makes us, respectable and relevant once again. Dwight is Top 5 player in the league now. As crazy as he may be, he still plays like a true center(a last of his kind)!

THe key is keeping him here afterwards!

Not enough, if he's going to be a key piece in a Dwight deal.

But Morey made it clear that his goal is to make moves to get us a championship. The Dwight trades IMO doesn't do that. Also that relevance will be fleeting as he will be gone the next year, and so will one or two promising draftees. But Morey will feel good that he finally landed a star I guess.

He could be included in the trade, but definitely not the key piece...

ok, they could turn out better or worse, but these are my ceilings for the rookies/young guys based on who their playing styles remind me of

    white-boris diaw
    lamb-rip hamilton/durant
    jones-josh smith
    d-mo-chris bosh
