All of the new reports have Parsons as a big part of a Howard deal; which is looking more likely as time goes on and teams like the cavs fall out of the question. I don't know about everyone else but personally I would hate to loose Parsons for anyone. never mind a one year rental. I am pleading that anyone close to Morey contacts him and lets him know the immenent upproar from the rockets fanbase he would receive if Parsons was let go in any trade. Parsons has something that few players seem to posess now days. Parsons has heart. He is a gem. his value to a franchise is priceless. his attitude is invaluable to a franchise trying to teach young players. KEEP PARSONS
I'm all for it. Howard is a drain on the franchise, ridding it of all who we rocket fans enjoy watching.
real funny but you know what I'm talking about. He has drive. he gives it a hundred and ten percent every moment. you can claim that others do but the truth of the matter is, they don't. They get big heads and stop doing the little things.
Don't understand how anyone could justify keeping Parson's if it gives us a shot at a star. Parson's clearly outperformed his 2nd round status but he'll be lucky if he even ends up being a solid starter in the NBA. If people get attached to every single player we ever draft that does anything somewhat positive then we will never get a star.
Don't want to lose Parsons either but I would also like to see how Morris plays today too. He has been morE aggressive but he has been missing shots and defensive assignments too...
Lin x x x Howard This is all we need and if this happens we know Morey can build a team that will compete. We took the lakers to 7 with Ron Artest as our "superstar" in games 2-7.
Dude was a second round pick just a YEAR AGO. Lol, now people are saying don't trade for Dwight Freaking Howard. Ha, nothing on this roster is untouchable for a player like Dwight(yes, even an unextended one)
Yea I agree ..He has that kind of fighting spirit that Scola has.I'm afraid if we lose CP that we'll just end up with a collection of guys that don't really care if they are here or somewhere else. The guy has been everything you could have asked for in a rookie.People seem to discount the part of him being only slightly past rookie stage. He will get better and his shot will improve..He already plays great D and is instrumental in getting others on the court to buy into team play. This was extremely evident in the 2 SL games, they were like night and day. Beside from his great play on the court,he could really be the guy that brings the chemistry together and helps form a team.
Don't wanna lose Parsons, either. But the bottom line is that if that's the only way to get a "star" then they need to let him go. It would hurt less if said "star" player would commit to staying and would attract 1 or 2 other "star" players to join him...
It makes sense that parsons would be a key piece to be traded to orl. He would instantly be a fan favorite there, cheap contract, and is a nice 2-way player. It would suck to lose him, but its for one of the most impacting players in the game in Dwight. Also, Morey has proven he can find talent out of nowhere. I believe he can do it again.
Morey's strength is surrounding stars with undervalued roleplayers. When he gets the stars, I have no doubt he can build a team around them.
