Khan was besting Garcia but he does what he does and got reckless and overconfident. Props to Garcia.
That was an awesome turnaround for Garcia. Khan just leaves himself way too wide open and was asking to get caught with something. Who's next for Garcia? JMM?
He should face Matthysse or Robert Guerrero. But there are plenty to choose from. Just not all of them deserve a title shot. Matthysse has been robbed so much he deserves the shot. Marquez would be a good choice, but I think the fight is too easy for JMM. Garcia would get picked apart.
I have nothing against Khan. It's the brits sports analysts or tv commentators that I dislike for painting the wrong picture about your sports. From boxing to football - sucks big time! cheers!
As a great fighter? He's probably not going to be one, so yeah; But commercially? Nah, his fights are entertaining and he sells tickets.
Pretty much, fight seem very straight foward for Khan but once he got caught with that first punch he was screwed.
You must be listening to the wrong guys, the ones I listen to are as critical as they come. Ian Darke knows his stuff and isn't biased in any way towards British fighters. Some of them are told to say the right things to hype up contests, but it's fairly easy to see through that kind of thing.
