"Hi, I'm Colonel Sanders... we're proud to be the newest members of the SEC, and as you can see, we'll be kissin ya ass the whole time we're here!" Had me dying.
the aggies just bring stupid jokes upon themselves. What a bunch of clueless idiots. Embarrassing that they represent Texas in the SEC.
In fairness to the president, people flub words ALL THE TIME. The real ridiculousness is the fact the editor used that take.
I think this is probably more indicative of Aggies representing Texas than that one video http://www.buzzfeed.com/katienotopoulos/texas-am-students-block-westboro-baptist-prot
New Unis unveiled today ... http://www.aggieathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205500875&DB_OEM_ID=27300 The stripes are something I am going to have to get used to. Honestly, I don't really care what they look like as long as the players and recruits like them. I do really like both new helmets though.
I like A&M's new jerseys and from what I've read, most Aggies feel that way as well. Even the generally negative folks at TexAgs were most positive about them, with one big exception: the beveling of the numbers on the jersey. There are several multiple page threads over at TexAgs about beveling and it seems to get everyone fired up. My question to any Aggies that might be on this board that are also on TexAgs is this, what is the deal with the "controversy" over beveled letters and numbers? What's the backstory there and why do so many get their panties in a wad about it?
The new jersyes exceeded my expectations. They look sharp and the players love them, and if the players (recruits) like them then I'm all for them.
Not much of a backstory. A lot of people simply do not like the bevel on the letters. Most of us don't even know when the bevel started. It just showed up one day. It immediately became a lightening rod on TexAgs.
