These DC defenders are sleeping on their man. Dynamo players are slipping by on all these long passes and DC has paid for it twice.
Gotta love the announcer on Galavision and the way he insists on referring to every player by their full name. For example, every time Boswell touches the ball, he calls him "Robert Allen Boswell." Same goes for "Bradley Joseph Davis." The only exceptions seem to be Mac Kandji, who he just calls "Big Mac" and the new DC goalkeeper who he seems to be calling "Joseph Joe Willis."
No kidding. This could very easily be a 3-0 or 4-0 game already. DC has been terrible thus far and of course the red card on Hamid doesn't help. The possession percentages have to be extreme.
just back from the game. Obviously the red card on the DC United keeper killed them. Houston just completely destroyed the short handed United. I was impressed by the play of Kandji and Cameron, for sure. It was my first visit to BBVA, and I liked it. I'd go back
Cameron to Stoke City almost complete http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/2012/07/18/cameron-move-houston-stoke-city-nearly-done
Probably would've been a yellow card had he not been so reckless earlier. Then he spit at Carr while he was on the ground. He takes forever to get off the field, knocks over the corner flag and pouts his way off. Those actions after the tackle are justifying the red card even more.
Dynamo win 2-1. It's not going to be easy for them playing without Cameron for the rest of the season but I think it's going to work out well for the Dynamo. And expect Peterson Joseph, the Kansas City player who got sent off, get a fine and a suspension or two for his antics.
It looked for all the world like last night's match was going to end up being another frustrating draw against SKC. The red card really helped the cause in the end, but it almost seemed like being a man down only served to ratchet up the defensive pressure for KC. In the end, it just took a fluky play to give the Dynamo the go-ahead goal.
http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/story/_/id/8176145/eintracht-frankfurt-releases-us-midfielder-ricardo-clark Ricardo Clark's Bundesliga team released him, if we could make an offer for him to come back that would be a steal. Cameron out, Rico back to replace him. I think Kinnear and Canetti need to explore this as an option
^ Maybe Kinnear might want to try new faces? Let the young kids develop? I don't remember Clark playing the same style or position as Cameron. I recall him being more of an attacking midfielder than keeping the ball...
Not too excited on possible Clark signing. I hope they do a sign and trade. I would try to get shea, but it would be unlikely that we are able to get em.
Liked Clark when he was here, and I hate to admit this but are we sure we want him back especially if we could land someone a bit younger or slide one of our own over like they have been doing most of the season.
