If the Rockets were obsessed with Lin being Asian, why did they cut him in the first place? Yes, Les would probably love to have a Chinese player on the roster, but not unless they can actually play well. Of course, since Lin is both good and Asian, he will retire a Rocket.

This site was made for Houston Rockets fans (whether they are true fans like me or band wagoners) and it seems to me that you are neither. Some of us may initially not like Morey in what he's doing as Rockets fans, and we may disagree on some things (but not like you where you disagree or be negative on everything under the sun) but we just have to put our trust in him that he'll do the right thing, no matter how things look at first.

I am just saying what I see. I am praising good players, but I will never praise below average or overrated players. I was saying that Lin is not top 30 PG few months ago, before anybody in his worst nightmare could imagine that Lin might join Rockets.

I haven't really paid attention to an influx of Sigmund posts until this thread but the only thing that strikes me as annoying is the back and forth, "He sucks" to which someone replies, "no he doesn't" to which he replies "Yes he does" and on and on and on.

For someone who has "forgot more basketball than you will ever know", you are heavy on vague opinions and light on any actual supporting arguments. Acceptable supporting arguments might be something like, Lin has trouble going left, Lin picks up lots of charges, Lin has a hard time finding the open man when he breaks down the defense, Lin has troubles with fighting through screens, etc. Watching someone endlessly say, "your all wrong", "Lin can't run the point", etc is a child's argument. We know your position on Lin - we ALL get it. If you want to continue a dialogue, then say something besides rewording what we already know.

 

You can check how many comments I wrote about Goran Dragic. Probably not even five and I was certainly never delusional how he is going to be top 5 PG.

 

Oh so its like a guilty pleasure thing with Dragic, I see.
Nobody here is calling Lin a top five PG.
Everyone here is calling him a 10-20 PG and you're here pretending like we're hyping him up to be a superstar. Stop pulling all this misinformation out of your ass.
