Summer League Game 2 vs Wizards: Tipoff @ ~ 9:15pm

- Dmo was softer than charmin last night. Guy was INVISIBLE.
- Royce White is a PF/SF but wants to run the point. Not sure if he'll be able to find his niche in the NBA.

Bright spots:
- Jeremy Lamb is a STUD and a winner
- Zoran Dragic is a gritty player. I say bring him in and see if he can play some PG
- Terrence Jones (love his game)

 

ok one thing at a time. D-Mo tried like hell to post up and get to the rim the right way all game long... and never got the ball or even a bad pass.. he got tired and gave up after running his ass off in a game winning night before this game. The guards need a coach to ream the hell out of today!!!

Lamb can play but he had the ball in his hands to pass to D-Mo all night long and never did... Nuf said.

R White... good point... no jumper or .... well just will not shoot right now*&&%$... maybe next year. But the dude can ball.. he will be ok.

Jones?.. It's hard for me to focus on him... why I don't know. maybe I'm just trying to look at or watch other players more right now when he is in the game... I think he made some hard fouls.??

Yes he did play hard, I saw it too. I also saw things I guess some people didn't see. Finishing at the rim, chasing for rebounds, and ... fouling hard? ... Is the least a player should do. He did have a better game than the game before, but he needs a lot of work with his decision making with the ball in his hands. In McHales offense, you can't be aware of the pick and not be cognizant of the roll. It defeats the purpose. He did play solid D against rookies though.

 

The SL games are good for Jones. He needs to build his confidence up.

 

Don't bother, it wasn't entertaining like the first game.

 

So, will Game Three determine whether or not we want the Howard trade to go through?

 

If the Rockets wanted someone to do that, they could have kept Terrence Williams and gone a different direction with this pick. This is exactly what T-Will was dead set on doing.

 

More like game 40 or so will determine whether or not we wanted the Howard trade to go through. You can't tell anything based off the first couple of games. Remember Donte Green or w/e? Scored 40 in a SL game and we shipped his a$$ for a good profit.

 

For those of you that actually went to the summer league games couldn't u have just sat right behind Morey and listened to what he was saying........especially during the whole Lin fiasco it would have been interesting.

 

Well, that would be better but it seems like the decision is being made NOW so we don't have the luxury of waiting do we?

Hope Sampson sits the team down today for a long video session. If I were Motie, I'd be pissed at my teammates. Royce is too unselfish and unassertive. He just wants to be a facilitating guy.
