    I actually don't believe in that. If Lin is quicker than DRose and shoots better than Ray Allen, he should be the best player in the world right now.

    you don't normally hear players commenting on contracts like this...they'll congratulate one another...but i don't recall seeing any player in any sport make this sort of comment about another guy's contract.

    Lin and Melo are a terrible fit. A lot is made out of the drop off in Lin's numbers towards the end. A whole lot of that had to do with Melo coming back, and going from PnRs to Woodson's "hero ball". Lin would fit perfectly in McHale's offense, and even more so next to Howard.

    Have you read ANY of the information about the new CBA??

    It's not a matter of Dolan just having to pay an extra bit of cash. It KILLS NYK's ability to sign players, and it penalizes them almost 5 dollars for EVERY DOLLAR THEY ARE OVER THE 'APRON' OVER THAT.

    This deal would cost them almost assuredly over 70 MILLION EXTRA, and will prevent them from signing other players to competitive deals.

    Wake up.

    If Dolan matches this deal, he is a complete moron.

    Which, unfortunately, may be the case, but if so, then NYK will be the equivalent in a d-league franchise in about 4 years.
