I actually like it from the point of view that all the whining and laziness is stereotype confirming, given the name.

Morey spelled it out plainly. No player options if you are not a star. Gogi wanted 4 years of 7 million. With Lin we are only on the hook for 3 years of 8 mil per. Not only do we pay less but we also get better cap flexibility in year 4.

Gogi could of had lins deal but his agent wanted him to get the fourth year. Can't say I blame him for making a grab for the extra doe.

I know but that's why I said, we'd be about $10M under the cap. I'm sure Orlando would be more than happy to accept multiple rookies to help us get a Howard deal done anyway ;)

same gogi that was the starter of a 7 game losing streak that saw us drop from 6th seed to out of the playoffs for good? no that important note gets glossed over waay too much

remember we came to toyota center riding a 4 game winning streak and utah handed our asses to us? yea, and during that 7 game stretch, steve nash came to town in that nationally televised game and schooled the student

at the very least, Lin has heart, drive, passion and fire to not back down from noone.. any player that can collide head on with the unjust and unfair ny media and deliver, gets my nod every time

Dragic: $30 million over four years, up to $34 million with incentives -- $8.5M/year

Lin: $25 million over three years -- $8.3M/year

Yeah, that's a LOT less.

If they do then we have no possible hang-ups in the Howard trade and things can finally move forward. If they don't, we can still probably do the Howard trade, it just may change the structure of it a bit.

Either way, Tuesday could be VERY interesting.

This. They are going to be playing some guards together at various points this season.

Dragic would school Lin.. are you serious. Lets see how Lin plays without Mike DaTonio offense around him. I doubt he could perform on Dragic level last year
