No, based on the comments, I do not think people understand. I expect there to be at least 3-4 bids for Scola. The team that gets him is going to end up paying at least in the 5 million range.
dont like either org that much but if I had to choose one, then Id go with SA, its my girlfriends hometown
Doesn't really matter where his friends are unless nobody bids on him! Although Manu might be the incentive for the Spurs to bid that bit higher. I think if someone gets him for under $4million a year it's a total steal. If I was the Thunder I'd be making a sizeable bid. It would give them that extra scoring option (and a post scoring option) that they seemed to lack in the finals. Next to Ibaka or Perkins one would think many of Scola's defensive issues might be somewhat hidden.
The Kings were one of the teams pondering to place a bid. Won't do so after all. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>The Kings will not place a bid on Luis Scola</p>— JasonJones (@mr_jasonjones) <a href="https://twitter.com/mr_jasonjones/status/224597411421634560" data-datetime="2012-07-15T20:12:50+00:00">Juli 15, 2012</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> No word yet on the Cavs, Mavs, Bobcats or Hornets. Not on my twitter feed, anyway.
Maybe its easier for him to accept that it was photoshopped. People have different ways of dealing with pain
