Batman & Robin was on tv last week, and i tried to watch it, but just quit after 30 minutes of bad pun lines of Arnold. Man that must have been one of the worst movies ever made (altough yesterday Catwoman was on, and I quit watching after 15 minutes). it is amazing how good Nolans trology is compared to most comic book movies.
Letterman allegedly spoiled the ending last night. Not gonna post clip but Anne Hathaway looked pissed. Batman nerds, unleash the fury on one adulterous David Letterman.
Did he really? That's terrible. What a desperate ass. I'll probably have to kill myself trying to avoid a spoiler now. Sheesh.
That old prick! Ugh now I must stay away from the interwebz! I was about to tune in to watch her segment, glad I didn't and fell asleep. 5 more days.
Spoiler I'm not really surprised though to be honest. I was already expecting it. I listened to the recently released soundtrack, and you can tell "it" could happen based on the melancholy themes from the last few tracks. Still, Letterman is a complete idiot and a jackass for doing this. What an epic fail. You can see he was trying to cover his ass right after he said it. Hathaway's shocked reaction made it obvious Letterman wasn't just joking.
this is the last time i'll be in this thread until i see the movie after reading the post about Letterman. what a ****ing douche.
LOL yeah I'm scared too. A whole week early too. I hope he gets reamed. Who the **** lets David Letterman see it early anyways? **** Letterman I hope he dies now.
Watched the clip. I don't think he really spoiled it. This wasn't an accidental slip-up: he flat out says, "And then, at the end ______" Seemed very staged. Not to mention, the show is prerecorded. If it really was a slip-up, they could have edited it out. Don't put too much stock in this.
Are they showing the Batman trilogy leading up to the midnite showing of the TDKR in IMAX or anywhere in Houston this Friday?
Not all the trilogy. I know they are showing TDKR at Edwards by I-10 Thursday midnight in IMAX. That theater is the only IMAX screen in Houston not in a museum.
Yea there are two places showing the whole trilogy in IMAX, the Gulf Pointe AMC and the First Colony one. Im going to one on Thursday, the 19th that will lead to the midnight showing.
I'm pissed. My friends just told me what Letterman spoiled while on we were playing PS3 online. Hopefully its not true.
Haven't seen it but the prevailing theory is this: Late Night is taped in the morning, edited and shown at night. Usually there is a studio rep accompanying stars during press rounds and interviews. If there was anything that Letterman said that Warner Bros objected to, Warner's would insist that Letterman edit it before airing it on TV.
