Which ones are good? I'll get Civilization. Never owned a strategy game, any good ones on this list?

Waiting for Arma II ( I want to try the Day Z mod so badly) and might get Fall of the Samurai or Napoleon: Total War.

That's about all I'm interested for now.

Civilization V personally for me, is the most disappointing game I have ever played. IV is really good, but I recommend Paradox Interactive's games. They're REALLY hard ( I've spent about 12 hours on Heart of Iron III and still don't really get it), but they're excellent and incredibly realistic.

In addition, Company of Heroes is fantastic, and the Total War series are fun if nothing else. And stay the heck away from Command and Conquer.

Around that corner? You're talking 6-9 months.

I've never been a big RPG guy but I think I'm gonna take the plunge and get Skyrim. Only $29 today and I want to see how pretty it looks with my GTX 670 :). Looking for some recommendations on the cheaper options as well that would be good to pick up.

Borderlands is a pretty good deal for five bucks.
Other than that just keep on waiting. Deals will get better and better. :)
