He obviously has something to hide. He is taking a lot of heat and it is damaging him amongst everyone, including other Republicans, that he is not releasing his returns. For him to not release them means whatever is in them is not something he wants the world to see. He is going to get crushed in NOV, because unlike the birth certificate thing, this really makes one question his character - not so much for what might be on his returns, but for hiding it in the face of so much suspicion. If he had no fear than why not release them and put the whole thing to rest?
You are wrong if you think voters will care about Romney withholding his Tax Returns. Romney has no incentive to release his tax returns because even with no malfeasance, it would change the dialogue from his preferred message, which is "look how bad the economy is" to "man, that Romney guy is stupendously rich and pays lower taxes than I do WTF is that." This is a referendum on the economy, though most voters have no clue whatsoever the proper path or the actual power of the President to pursue economic change in this globally integrated world. They only know that come November, if they are hurting and their friends and family are hurting, they will want something. If the economy isn't perceived to be stronger by November, this will be a VERY close race.
If it is a close race, there are a lot of ******* idiots in this country. There are basically two economical philosophies in this country. One definitely causes the problem and the other maybe solves it and maybe doesn't. It's a pretty dumb idea to vote for the guy that supports the policies that definitely make our economy worse (while, yes, making the rich richer), but America has a long and dumb history of doing such. If Obama wins we will slowly recover. Slowly. If Romney does, get ready for the rich to become very, very rich and the rest of us to enjoy an economic depression that might never, ever end. We know by now what trickle-down economics is. It's been tried by four presidencies in our modern era and it has never ever worked except to make the rich richer and everyone else poorer. Try it again. I don't really give a ****. i don't have kids. I'd almost just hang back and laugh about the foolishness of the American people if they thought Mitt Romney was going to do a single thing to help them economically. Not to mention he wants to start trouble with Russia AND China on day one. Yeah, that sounds like a president.

The people who are going to vote for Romney are the same people who love and worship the wealthy, so this won't make any difference.
Sounds like most of America. Pick up your supermarket tabloid or flip on the television; you will see it. Donald Trump is a great example: a total clown but loved and adored by enough Americans to find his way into our living room television sets.
Total trollish diversion from Obama. The concern shouldn't be what Romney did with his hard earned money, but rather what Obama is doing with hardworking Americans' money right now. That's truly disgusting and needs to be stopped in November.
He's not doing anything with it. Except making sure their taxes are the lowest in 30 years and their healthcare dollars go farther.
Romney Interview Directly Contradicts His Previous Statements About Bain Tenure Mitt Romney told CBS News‘s Jan Crawford Friday evening that he did not attend Bain Capital meetings after he left the company in February of 1999 to run the Winter Olympics. But this answer appears to contradict sworn testimony he delivered in 2002 “as part of a hearing to determine whether he had sufficient residency status in Massachusetts to run for governor”: – 2002: “[T]here were a number of social trips and business trips that brought me back to Massachusetts, board meetings, Thanksgiving and so forth.” – 2012: “I was in Salt Lake City for three straight years. I don’t recall even coming back once to go to a Bain or management meeting. We were, I was out there running the Olympics and it was a full time job, I can tell you that.” “Jan, I had no involvement with the management of Bain Capital after 1999,” Romney insisted on Friday.
I casually follow politics, but what romney is doing right now is trying to play the American people as fools. In 2002 he says he sat on Bain board meetings when running for governor in MA, then he gets on TV saying I had nothing to with bain after 99 and will only release one more tax return... His own pops started the trend of releasing multiple tax returns!!! Obama camp has obviously found something and its scaring the **** out of Romney right now.
While it is much easier earning for Romney to earn money given his family's vast connections to the apparatuses of power, and the stellar educational opportunities afforded to him by his family's wealth and connections, I don't doubt he has worked hard because you don't really succeed without working. But the implied assertion that Romney has somehow worked harder than other people is ludicrous. He's likely above average in ability to put in grueling hours, but he probably never worked as hard in a week as the average cook at your local Asian restaurant. Still, he has special skills. What he did at Bain Capital takes a certain kind of moral flexibility that escapes most people and he should be compensated accordingly.
I've said for years that Republicans were much better at brass-knuckle, take-no-prisoners, chop-down politics than Dems. But this year, looks like Obama will run his campaign like a Republican and give Romney a taste of his own medicine. Romney's "hard earned money"?
It's truly hilarious to me that Barack Obama, OF ALL PEOPLE, has the shame to try to find fault in such as successful businessman like Mitt Romney. Romney was incredibly successful at both Bain & Company as well as Bain Capital, then put together a fantastic Olympics at Salt Lake City. Barack Obama, on the other hand, was a community organizer, then was some low-level law school instructor. That's pitiful compared to what Romney did. Obama can't hold Mitt's jock when it comes to business. Instead, all Barack can do is play class warfare and try to belittle Romney due to his wealth that he successfully earned. That's truly pathetic politics from Obama. Obama is simply an American EMBARRASSMENT. I am ashamed of his behavior, given he's the POTUS.
If Romney's case for being President is his success as a businessman then what he did as a businessman seems fairly relevant. You can't have it both ways... I'm a great businessman but let's not talk about it. You're simply trying to deflect his record to trash Obama because rather than be a hedge fund manager he decided to work in the community and that sucks to prefer to help people who need it rather than sit in an office and move money around while you put people out of work to fill your own pockets.
