Yeah, but I forgot what they call it when you waive a weird player. Kidding. Amnesty Clause is a provision in the new CBA that allows teams to waive one player and remove that contract from salary cap. Other teams can bid for that player once amnesty waived
OMG!!! that thread was AWESOME!!! Can you start that as a new thread? Every Rockets fan should read that! They admit how badly we keep screwing them over and how they are laughing stocks! Reading this will make Clutchers everywhere proud. Hilarious!!!
anyone who starts that thread you are talking about will soon find themselves unable to start threads. It will be locked.
Changed his offer last minute, after NY has had about 2 weeks acting under the assumption that Lin would be getting paid a lesser amount. It also appears that we obtained a fan favorite of theirs in the Camby trade, just to release him.
We already pissed them off, but for different reasons. We backloaded his deal and he will be making 15M in the 3rd year as a backup. The Knicks aren't upset about the price as much as the last minute switcheroo and Camby deals. Also the T-Mac trade wasn't exactly in their favor back in the day.
DM will for ever be known as the guy that fleeces ...never the other way around...Ric Bucher...stop blowing steam that doesnt exist...makes u look like a complete tool
Give me your woman. Ugh, I don't want her anymore, so I gave her to a passing caravan for two yaks and a goat.
Turkoglu's contract is the worst, so, yes, this is what they will want to dump. Turkoglu is a genuinely horrible human being and I can't imagine the Rockets taking him in the deal.
Turkey Glue's expires after next season. It's a big yearly salary, so he'll be a nice trade asset at that point. Jason Richardson and Big Baby are under contract through the year after that, and reportedly the Jazz want to move those two most of all.
You'll have to explain this one, since Wikipedia was no help. I mean, I hate it when players flop, but a "genuinely horrible human being?" What did he do to deserve being called that?
